Well, at least Tara now knows Brad is married. Does anyone even know what Luann’s major is?

I just saw that our friend Joel had a mini stroke on Monday. I want to wish him well and hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.

Don’t want to spoil how the story goes, do you, Luann?

Yes, thank you for pointing that out Luann, because I was beginning to wonder if Tara would try to charm her way into Brad’s life.

I mean, she might still do that, if either G or K were interested in doing that type of storyline.

Boy, busy set of panels today. Everything but letting Tara know Brad is married (good and expected sister move Lu, but was Tara’s flirting? Yes). Hilarity ensuing with the setup to the punch line. Will Tara let that misdirection play go though?

At this point a career in burger flipping seems the most productive use of her time. That or live crash test dummy,

I too am going to enjoy watching how Luann retcons Brad’s history to make it fit this timeline.

Perhaps Brad has a fellow fire-fighter who is single and would like to learn archery?

Luann is a fast talker.

Brad and Luann. Two peas in a pod. Bench warmers in the game of life. Where are they going? Where have they been? Where do they hope to be?

So in frame 2, Luann seems to be paying attention.

The writer’s block is finally gone, now Luann is writing something and I really wonder how she’s telling a story about her brother making it look like a novel. Such a story is more likely as a script for a play or a sitcom. Now Brad is asking a big question. Has Luann finally decided her major? I don’t think so, but she needs to choose and Tara might be the one able to help her, far more than Bernice ever could be able to.

Hottie Slobby Yogurt. A brand I would never buy. I’m off to enjoy some bean curds. Pip Pip…

Yogurt doesn’t work as a cover for a partial “you”, when spoken, unless you pronounce it yougurt. She’d better claim writing about U2, or Jung (Carl Gustav), or Young (Neil), or a 50000 words novelization of Young Frankenstein or the screenplays for half a season of Young Sheldon.

Luann does a series of gig jobs, which essentially describes her collegiate studies. Luann is a gig student.

Luann needs to ask his permission before using his story for anything. Otherwise he is NOT going to be happy.

I think Brad would be very flattered and happy that you are going to write about him. It makes him feel like you idolize him, like little sisters should.

Cat got stuck in what? Let her finish for gosh sakes.

Tara wanted Brad to rescue her cat, alright….

So the “Saga of Bradley Michael DeGroot” will be rolling off of Luann’s fingertips and into the literature.

If Lu wants to write about Brad, maybe she should start with time he first saved a life as an EMT, and the “repercussions” that came afterwards.

And if Lu is too reluctant to write about Brad, she can always write about herself.

I would suggest the arc starting on July 31st 2001 thru August 28th 2001. ;-)

So when Tara talks about a cat stuck in … and Luann cuts her off saying that Brad is married, is that a euphemism for something that women know only to themselves?

She’s majoring in embarrassment, followed by a minor in lack of self-esteem

I thought Brad was inspired to become a fireman by 9/11. 9/11 was 21+ years ago, so if Lunann is 18/19 she was not even born If brad is a few years older(maybe 23 today) he would have been about one/two years old on 9/11.

It is really creepy that Luann refers to her brother as a Hottie in her paper. I would never refer to any of my brothers that way.

Notice that Luann didn’t give Tara a chance to flirt with Brad, which she knew would be Tara’s intention. Tara already stated that she thought Brad was “hot.”

Must be the week for episodes. After carpal tunnel surgery yesterday, I had a bit of a scare this morning, called EMT’s. No return to hospital. All good now. :-)

I was hoping Brad could provide storylines; but thought HE would suggest them. Shades of “Chesapeake Shores”! He may not be happy with the starring role in this bio. Although, if she’s honest, she was the brunt of many of his jokes. She certainly hides a lot of her decisions and actions.

not sure i like Luann’s title but at least she has another story; as they say write what you know and this she knows, but flustered and brainless as usual.

Luann’s not the only student without a major. Over at Mooney U., Dez was described as “an undeclared major from New York City.”

One of my physics professors back at Auburn told me he switched majors four times and still graduated after four years. (Before his master’s and doctorates, of course.)
