See, Elvis? She’s just been waiting for Dad Cat to settle down.

The girl kitty knows how to work a room—and how to work a grumpy old dad cat!

In panel one it looks like puck and Ora are between Elvis and Goldie. In panel 3 it looks like Goldie is between puck and Elvis. Am I missing something?

Another very cute moment in a fairly cute arc, showing that much like Bea, Ora needs both her mom cat.. and her dad cat. And as usual it just takes some cuteness to get Elvis emotoinal walls down. I truly love how even something as simple and dialoguless (if still expertly done) as this strip has so much character baked in. Even Ora and Iggy who have only been here two months already feel as fleshed out as their older siblings/surrogate parents.

At last, Dad Cat gets what he needs. Perhaps there is hope for the younger generation yet.

Morning: cats walk on face, get up, put on coffee water, feed 7 older cats and close door; feed 2 littler cat boys (soon 2 more) in bedroom and close door; feed 2 little dogs, feed myself while reading BCN and comments; sigh and smile. Like the coffee ad, “Best part of my morning.” Love you folks.

Notice how Georgia has conveyed Elvis’s moods so well with just a few tiny lines for ‘eyebrows’ and nose. Nice!!!

This one reminds me of a classic encounter between Wilamena the Radio Cat and her good, big buddy Beta.

Beta was sleeping on a throw pillow quite peacefully. Wilamena came along and put both front feet on the pillow and tested it for softness.

“You know, I bet two cats could fit on this pillow.”

“Wha? Whatever”

She squeezed herself onto the pillow and nestled comfortably against Beta. I could hear him start to snore.

“I don’t seem to be able to get comfortable. If I could just stretch … "

I turned around to see a sleepy Beta suddenly standing next to the pillow and wondering what was going on.

“Hmm, guess I was wrong. There really is only room for one cat on this pillow.” Wilamena gave a little sigh and stretched some more.

[Throughout their years together, this scenario would be played out many, many times. :) ]

Nope… I won’t cry. I’m not shedding any tears. (Reaches for a box of tissues.)

Dad Cat has a new BABY! And her fangs are showing!!!!!!!

Awwwww!!

This strip remind me of my aunt’s visit with her new dachshund puppy this week. The puppy at first didn’t want to walk into the house with 2 huge Great Danes. Within minutes she was off like a rocket playing with both. By the time she left she kept trying to curl up between Jasper’s front and back legs on the couch. Jasper wasn’t so sure about it though. The little pocket rocket won him over though because all the girls like Jasper no matter the species.

Werewolves clearly ps to prepare the spot they’ll sleep in.
