MERRY CHRISTMAS

I have no idea if I dream in colour or not.

More to the point, Danae never dreams about being good.

May your seasonal celebration bring you all the joy and comfort you can use. Let the cheer be present, the company pleasant and the circumstances fortunate!

For Danae, this is a wonderful life. Just remember what Santa told you……

I must dream in color since I don’t notice the difference when I wake up.

In a so-called “lucid dream”, you know you’re dreaming, and you’re close enuf to consciousness that you may be able to exert some control over its content. Next time you find yourself in such a state, try to imagine that it’s just after a spring rain and you’re looking in the sky for a rainbow. See what turns up.

I dream in color. I would find it strange if I didn’t.

S-o-o-o-o what lesson will Danae take from this? Santa seems to think she is a tough sell.

My dreams have always been in color, I don’t know if that’s good or bad, but I certainly enjoy the ones awash in brilliant colors!!

The philosopher René Descartes was enjoying the Christmas party very much. He was asked if he’d like another glass of holiday cheer. He smiled and said, “Cogito non” (I think not), and mysteriously vanished.

No. That’s not what Christmas is about.

Have you ever stolen? Lusted after another person? Used God’s name as a curse? Failed to love your neighbor as yourself? I have. We have all violated God’s law. “…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…”Romans 3:23

Should we be judged for our moral failures? Who will judge us? Our rebellion against God is why we die. “For the wages of sin is death,…” Romans 6:23

That is why Jesus came to earth … to die so that we can have our sins forgiven. “but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

If you change your mind about your sin, agreeing with God that you have rebelled against him, and if you trust in Jesus’ death, then he will forgive your sins. “because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9

We will then have peace with God and will no longer face judgment for our rebellion. “Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:1

While this Christmas weather has been vile for days, it has succeeded in doing something I had not thought possible:

I guess I must be weird. I get everything except smell. Taste is infrequent, but on occasion.
