Let it go. Some people are just incapable of telling the truth. They want the attention. You’re doing the right thing not giving it to them. Of course, you’d be doing even a better thing by getting them institutionalized in a mental facility….
The current attitude of some Con-servative politicians these days reminds me of a quote from writer O. Henry: “Whenever he saw a dollar in another man’s hands he took it as a personal grudge, if he couldn’t take it any other way.”
fify…..The current attitude of all politicians these days reminds me of the quote in the lobby of the IRS building: "Whenever we see a dollar in another man’s hands we don’t take it as a personal grudge, we just take it because the politicians made it legal to do so.”
I know we need to get the politics out of money [sic], but I’m getting mixed feeling about the invasions of politics into the comics… Look what happened to Scott Adams.
(Just too hard to make “madness” and “doom” seem funny… TFG was just shown ranting in a video.)
The investigation continues and more accomplishments have emerged. The egoist has won the Iditarod, the Boston Marathon, Indianapolis 500, the Tour de France, has a Grand Slam title and is a Triple Crown winning jockey.
Best not to kill the customer. At least not until after they’ve paid their bill, and a few service upcharges. Better to drive them off by staring at them the whole time. Make ’em uneasy.
A strange thing happened Tucker Carlson was doing his usual fake story about Yellen in 2007 saying there was no problem with something. He was calling her a liar. The clip had a 2017 tag on it and it was about something else!! How surprising!! He actually apologized because he was caught. LOL! How rare is that, not the fake stories but the apology.
This isn’t that funny, becauze there are actually politicians who think that’s their job. And, worse, they keep getting elected anyway. You would need to somehow exaggerate it to make it funny.
The guy is a prep scout for Buttercup. He’s out there to stir up folks in a way that would make Buttercup look almost acceptable as a candidate and a human being. Gonna be a tough sell and a long 18 months.
When you arrive at the point in time when you can can no longer distinguish between Satire(like the Onion)and Reality(the former Republican Party) you have entered the Twilight Zone.
The fact is, for every useless politician trolling the liberals, there is a useless politician trolling the conservatives. Neither provides much confidence.
Stats show that the actual work done by members of Congress, based on hours per day spent on their careers, is about 60-70% dialing for dollars. Thanks a heap, Citizens United!
I agree, even subtle digs into politics is unwelcome by some readers but I’ve seen it lean both ways. Non Sequitur was cut by a lot of papers because of a graphic that, if you squinted your eyes and tilted your head, looked like it may have included a very derogative comment about Trump.
Used to be political humor was directed at politics and politicians in general, not an attack on one side or the other. Don’t tell me “the libs” are all a bunch of hard-working angels.

Republicans welcomed him into Congress and are determined to keep him there.
Given a little time, he may rise to become the understudy of Perjury Taylor Greene.
