Love beats Luxury… but having both is NICE!

So Bets plans to live with Gunther over the summer? What if Irma and Al find out, and they toss her out? I don’t think Bets thought this through.

And I thought all the sneaking around and hiding in closets was driving her crazy?

Tiff should really invite both Bets and Gunther to stay with her for the summer.

To be fair, Les should also get an invite as payback for letting her sleep in his room for all those months.

So just how are they going to pull that off? They would be playing a very risky game which could blow up in their faces. I wonder if Gunther has bought off on this plan. AND Les!

A whole summer and your boyfriend’s mother who lives on the property isn’t going to know you’re there?

Have you confronted Al and Irma about your staying at the Gulag? Of course not. Where are you gonna go once you get kicked out, which is SURE to happen any day now?

Look. Tell Bets she can stay at the manse and she can bring Gunther with her. You’ll have two people watching your house free of charge.

Tiff has room for both Gunther & Bets. However it looks like Irma & Al are supporting Gunther while he is in college. If Gunther doesn’t stay in his assigned bedroom, they might decide Gunther is a big boy and can support himself.

Ya know, Bets, you and Gunther could live in the west wing of the manse all by yourselves without worrying about Irma and Al.

Tiff knows a lot about luxury and very little about love.

Looks like Bets plans to stick it out with Gunther in Gunther’s gulag bedroom. The #^*! is about to hit the fan.

Bets, do you realize you don’t need to live in that tiny house? You can bring Gunther over to the manse. Far away from Irma’s eagle eyes. If Irma objects, you would have the opportunity to tell Irma that her son is now an adult and don’t need her permission to do anything. Actually Bets needs to tell Gunther that he needs to be a man and tell his mom that. Perhaps living at manse for the summer will help them see the viability of living together in an apartment and decide to do that instead of returning to the backyard guesthouse.

Irma and Al are not going to be happy when they finally discover Bets is living there. Gunther and Bets just might end up together at Tiff’s when they do find out.

This is a good thing and I’m happy for Bets. Now Tiffany just has to propose to her AND Gunther to spend the summer with her. Also because the fact that, surely, they will go to live together in secret will end up painfully backfiring in their faces. Maybe Bets is also doing it as a reaction to Tiffany’s remarks about how absurd the fight between her and Gunther’s parents is? It’s a possibility… However, I think if the three spend the summer together it would be the best outcome for everyone.

O.K., who IS that, sitting there looking like Bets? The writers have gone out of their way to portray her as crass, selfish, a self promoting selfie queen, so very proud to be one of the “It’s all about MEEEEE …..” twins with Stef. Now suddenly she’s giving the impression of caring about someone else? Something underhanded must be afoot.

Wait a minute. Tiffany lived in the same cramped space she is trying to steer Bets from. Difference was Tiffany was pampered at the Gulag.

This. This is rock bottom worst.

I’d say it’s time for Tiffany to change her priorities.

she said (with finality) she was living with Gunther for the summer but she didn’t say where, though one could assume it will be at the Gulag.

How about inviting both Bets and Gunther to come live with you? Or maybe you could invite Ox? He really loves you.

Is Bets still sneaking in and out of Gunther’s house? There’s no way she can keep that up without Al and Irma finding out.

The Bets possibility is still the most probable. Today’s dialogue is exposition/setup.

Way to go, Bets, unless Gunther can visit you in the mansion. That could be an option.

BTW Bets, technically speaking, shacking up is not love.

Ideally, Betts could find a solution that lets her have Gunther, without interference from certain parties, especially a certain leech. If not, she’ll deal, like she did last time.

Bets is planning on living with Gunther, the man she loves, for the whole summer? How brave and devoted. Until now, she’s been sneaking in to visit him regularly, but still spending time at the dorm. Does she think she can be at his place 24/7 and it won’t be a problem? Or has something changed? Are Al and Irma okay with her being there? Did they suddenly decide they approve of the relationship and love Bets? I don’t think so.

Can you imagine her being there alone and being caught napping or (even worse) hiding in the closet by Al and Irma? I don’t think even the strongest love could overcome that much humiliation, but then, maybe hiding in a closet isn’t so bad if you really love somebody.

Nice of Bets to unilaterally decide to live on someone else’s property without their permission… If you love him, Bets, invite him to summer with you in the manse. Geez, dense much?

Gunther and Bets: Passionate love affair, but still have not gone all the way.

Imagine having no choice but these 2 contrived situations. It’s either tell goofball dad you’re afraid, or Gunther’s love. I choose telling goofball dad, surprisingly.

The way this is worded makes it sound like either Bets and Gunther got things smoothed out with Irma and Al off panel …or they’re getting an apartment. Neither seem like what’ll be the case TBH since dropping a storyline that was so emphasized would be weird (though if the Evanses are bored with the plotline, I’d be perfectly okay with a different storyline)

Though being honest, I just find the scenario of Bets and Gunther thinking that her living on the property in secret for a whole summer makes perfect sense to be weirdly on brand for them. Particularly since Bets has made it clear that she wants to “win” the passive aggressive war between her and Gunther’s parents.

First comes love, then comes marriage

Boom! Mind blown. Bets chose love over lavish luxury. Plus, she’s willing to risk confrontation to be with Gunther. She’s a keeper.

Does anyone, outside of comic strips and soap operas, ever actually use the phrase “the man I love”?

Geeze! The answer is simple. Simply invite both Gun and Bets to your house for the summer.

According to the murder mystery novels and shows., Love is, for many women, all about finding a man who will provide luxury. Especially after he is dead.

Well Tiffany is having trouble getting her roommates to stay with her? In the case of Bets and Gunther, why would it be surprise that Bets loves Gunther, and he her? Oh, I know why, but don’t want to start a big fight, although…? There is GASP! Stephanie left; I think she might be hurt if she isn’t invited. I’m not sure though that if the manse is still in play, they won’t all end up there anyway.

I’m telling you Bets, a less crowded and less judgemental place like the mansion isn’t a bad idea. You don’t have to sneak around, hide in a closet, use a bathroom full of nudie mags that have pics of Irma taped over the model’s faces. Seriously accept Tiff’s invitation, you’ll probably save yourself a ton of heartache. Anything is better than hanging around with Cunther in that glorified toolshed

Now tell Al and Irma that, Bets. Tiff gets stopped in her tracks with that revelation. I like that. But, sneaking around with the man you love isn’t good either. He did not stand up for her, the woman he loves?

So will the new security system be installed next week. New character? I still think Tiff should be with the Dad she loves, fly away to Paris. =:-o

Luxury doesn’t provide sex. (Not that it’s crystal clear that Gunther does, though an ancient story arc strongly suggests that he has his . . . moments.)

If Bets and Gunther move in with Tiffany, it solves a lot of problems. In a mansion that big, there should be more privacy than living with Les.
