In these modern times, the Republican Platform is “discrimination and injustice”.

When Rudy was running for president, someone commented that every sentence out of his mouth consisted of a noun, a verb, and 9-11. DeSantis’ sentences are much simpler: it’s just “woke”, the all-purpose noun and verb.

Let me give it a try: Woke means using the specter of discrimination and injustice to create discrimination and injustice, first and foremost by convincing people that they are eternal victims of discrimination and injustice and therefore unable to achieve their full potential. In other words, one group of people making a second group of people nothing more than pawns in the system by convincing them that a third group of people has made them nothing more than pawns in the system.
