Finally they are talking about relationships! Interesting to know Tiffany was sure Bernice and Luann had someone and she envies them. Bernice replies with a very annoying smile, Luann is surprised to know that. Probably she thinks Luann is with Piro, even though she had assured her there was nothing, Tiffany understood she likes him. I hope this is the start of a discussion about why they are all single and if this is sad for everyone as it is for Tiffany. We know Luann would like to have someone while Bernice seems happy in her muse/model role between Nil and Jack. But what they will say?

So the new maturity we saw from Tiff the last few years is gone and we have returned to the high school version of not only her but Luann and Berniece as well. Doesn’t really make sense to me.

Tiff has always (and still does) thought of herself as the glamor girl who should have all guys eating out of her hand. Guys are attracted but they don’t see her as “relationship” material. The fact that she deliberately forgets or mispronounces Piro’s name is mostly a sour grapes thing, i.e. that she was never able to attract him. As for Ox, she doesn’t consider him to be of her “caliber”. She tries to pluck the boyfriends of others but now that tactic is giving her guilt feelings as she grows into a more “human” of a being.

Tiffani, here’s a clue: You weigh more than a water buffalo.

I thought that after the July 14th conversation between Kip and Tiff something better would have happened by now… at least GET IN THE POOL and stop being weird! He already invited Tiffany to join him for a swim, so getting Lu and Bern there to stop any “situations” from happening is already in place, this is just dragging on for the sake of…frustration?

And the Tiffany massive ego trip continues (what fun) . She convinces herself that Kip wants her, even though he has a girlfriend. She convinces herself that she has to hide in her room because Kip won’t be able to control himself around her, and now she elevates herself above Luann and Bernice, who are, after all, just lowly little commoners. All of this egomania she hides under a feigned display of moral uprightness, because, of course, her high morals are also superior to anyone else’s.

Hey Tiffany, if you are so convinced that you are irresistible, just go down to the pool and put it on display. Let’s see it.

What is going on. Yesterday this strip got removed from my list of strips I follow and I couldn’t find it on GoComics. Today it is back on GoComics but I can’t add it to my list.

This dialogue has potential for a good “girls’ talk” segment. Undesired singleness is a current issue for 20 somethings. The limitations of online dating, collective low self-esteem, the fear of being incomplete without a life mate or in Tiff’s case, total self-delusion – a lot of ways this segment could go. And by the time, they come to a place of consensus, Kip is out of the pool (or Stef has made a surprise visit and the pool has turned into the privacy room). Or they hear a crash from an attempted break in (actually a bottle falls over) and Kip comes to the rescue and creates a very uncomfortable encounter with the ladies. Looking forward to seeing how this ends.

Where is Tiffany’s waist? She had always been the provocative display model, easy on the eyes, good for the imagination. Now, she looks like she’s ready for a bull riding contest at the rodeo.

I can’t believe Bernice can say “Muse/Artiste Arrangement” with a straight face. That sounds so goofy and pretentious.

So who does Tiffany think Luann is dating? She went out on one date with someone from the dating app, but that is all I can recall. Has she had any other dates since Quill? Was bowling with Jack a date?

All 3 of these women could easily have a busy dating life, or steady BF if they wanted. They are in college where there are lots of young, single men. When they are 30 years old the men will be mostly taken.
