Iggy blushing after being told he’s one of the VERY best boys on earth is all I need today to get through anything the world can hurl at me. Ora Zella, showing us more of her sweet side, while holding a chainsaw no less.

Lupin reminds me of Dustin Hoffman as Captain Hook. “Lie? Oh, I never lie! The truth is far too much fun!”

Nothing more adorable than a girl and her chainsaw!

Iggy has the windup squirrel he asked for in his letter to Santa on Dec 3rd. You can see the windup in panel one.

Elvis’ and Puck’s response to Ora Zella’s tale is great. Elvis wants to do the look over his glasses at her thing, but he can’t really be sure. Puck has the right idea. It’s just crazy enough to be true. The only thing missing is Lupin wearing his best smug face and doing an I told you so dance around the room. Which I assume would involve some butt-wiggling and tail swishing in their faces.

Ooh! Happiness abounds. Especially for Iggy.

ONLY 45 minutes! I wonder if “Tiny Santa” does this quick delivery with “Tiny Dancer”,… Prancer, Vixen, Comet & Co

I suspect Santa was exaggerating just a little about the 45 minutes. He had probably already covered a good part of the world, and he has plenty of night left as he continues westwards.

But not exaggerating at all about Iggy.

Lupin and Puck should believe her. They met Santa. Santa even scolded Lupin on 2021/12/24.

Did I ever mention my 17 month old granddaughter is an agent of Chaos? That’s what we call her. Chaos. They should have named her Chaos. She would definitely give this Agents of Chaos clowder a run for their money.

Iggy’s blush is enchanting.

I hope you all had a good Christmas. I had a great one with my family. The great-grandchildren were spoiled rotten. My youngest great-granddaughter (1 1/2) discovered candy canes and was a gloriously happy and sticky mess all day)

I love that Santa brought the wind-up squirrel toy that Iggy asked for, and that Iggy is so happy with his new toy.

Serfig-Aro: Elvis-Anum will conclude the evening’s entertainment with a scroll from our elven friends.

Elvis: Thank you, Figs. The elve’s quest to recover their masterpiece, the silmarils, took them on countless adventures and unbelievable danger. This is the story of their time in the Frozen North.

It was freezing in the Frozen North. The snow was deep, and the ice was slippery beyond words. We knew we had to learn to negotiate this unforgiving terrain. Fortunately, we met the walrus and seals of the Ancient and Accepted Guild of Procurers. They provided us with woolen garments from where we know not, and showed us how to procure food as well. They also advised us to make friends with the Indignant People in the area.

Puckmosis: I think you mean Indigenous People.

Elvis: Ahem. Now moving right along…

That’s right, Lupin. We Agent’s of Chaos need only observe and occasionally nidge reality!

Truth is, quite often, stranger than fiction.

Nice to see Elvis make an appearance!

“Reality is chaotic enough.” Lupin is so wise. Sometimes reality is too chaotic. Or maybe that’s just my reality.

Lupin would know. He’s an expert in chaosology.

I try to avoid reality as much as possible. It somehow manages to still find me, though.

OT: Moonlighting elf

I missed yesterday’s comics :( Glad everyone had a good day yesterday. I spent most of the day with family and for once no chaos with certain members. So, belated Merry Christmas to everyone. Thank you to Georgia and the Mega Orb for all your kindness, cheer and great stories.

HAPPY KWANZAA to all who celebrate!

Lupin is right chaos and randomness are a way of life for the universe. Oh, don’t forget indifference to life forms.

Prayer for the Death of a Beloved Pet

O Lord our God, we come before You this day in sadness. Mochi, who brought us so much joy in life, has now died. His happy times in our family’s embrace have ended. We miss Mochi.

Help us, O God, to remember the good times with Mochi. Remind us to rejoice in the happy times he brought to our home. Let us be thankful for the good life we were blessed to give to him.

We are grateful to You, God, for creating Mochi, for entrusting him to our care, and for sustaining him in our love for a measure of time. We understand that all lives must die. We knew that this day would come. Yet, O God, we would have wanted one more day of play, one more evening of love with Mochi.

O God, as we have taken care of Mochi in life, we ask that You watch over him in death. You entrusted Mochi to our care; now, we give him back to You. May Mochi find a happy new home in Your loving embrace.

As we remember Mochi, may we love each other more dearly. May we care for all Your creatures, for every living thing, as we protected the blessed life of Mochi. May his memory bless our lives with love and caring forever. Amen.

But lying is a perfect way to sow chaos. I do agree with Lupin, though.

I got my Christmas presents from Kim Metzger tonight. Right away the senior resident who is a bit of a Nosy Parker followed me right to my door… Asked me what I got for Christmas. I essentially shut the door in her face and said “Later!” If I’d been thinking, I would have said “A CHAINSAW.” Bwahahah.
