Snoozes sound good to me. It’s been a long day!

Ora Zella is sleeping on The Boy just like my Gracie sleeps on me! It’s like a living weighted blanket. Very comforting.

Where do pirates nap? On the pooped deck, of course…

Looks like Lupin escaped the Kraken, at least I think that is his white tail I see.

So Goldie has a favourite? It seems to be the Boy (although it could be Pengo.)

So many smiling faces. Happy dreams in progress, I’m sure.

They need sun to lay in, as cats are solar charged.

I’m reminded of something I saw in Two Lumps: The Adventures Of Eben and Snooch: I am the captain of the carpet ship!

We brought Shadow home Friday, a very nice memorial with his ashes.

It the woman was the Kraken, could somebody explain to me why she was upset. The kids and cats were just playing. They weren’t hurting anything. They weren’t breaking anything. They were just being kids and cats playing together.

Why this is best time to nabs Captain No Beard and his blaastid buccaneers!

As I said recently, the “carpet sea” reminds me of a blue kitchen mat that I used as the sea when playing with my Lego pirate ship in the 1970s.

Iggy: And Alice and the Gang have plenty of cheese from Where We Know Not.

Sue Chef: Your Uncle Floof sent us plenty of donuts for sweets.

Thomios: Yes. We have powdered sugar donuts, cinnamon donuts, even chocolate frosted. We need something to make a glaze for them.

Queen Titania: I understand you and the Water Cat Brothers have special plants for our hive.

Iggy: That is so, Your Majesty. Fresh, Salty, and I will bring them to you at once.

Queen Titania: Now, I just heard Chef Thomios’ dilemma. The Ladies and I have the solution.

Whatever flies into that little fuzzy head, Ora Zella takes it on and gives it her all. She’s the poster child of chaotic-neutral, living fearlessly and loving fully.

RSORTB on Goldie! She’s lost her eyepatch. The Boy is borrowing the Girl’s stuffed fox for a hand hold.

A Saturday Surprise.

A fitting end to a good story. Imp sleeps on me like Ora Zella sleeps on the boy. He tends to slip off if I don’t hold him on.

All missions should end in a good nap!

Arr! If they be nappin’ on the carpet seas water bed they be sleeping in Davey Jones lockers in no time.

It looks like Goldie’s undercover investigation is going very well.

OT: The ceiling is a floor too…

There was an excellent children’s book we had when the kids were small. The Napping House – by Audrey Wood. Illustrations by Don Wood. The final panel of Georgia’s strip reminded me vividly of that picture book. Marie put away some of our favorite children’s books for possible use when/if we become grandparents.

Don’t rest for too long, privateers. The evil Kraken could show up at any moment!

For some reason all I can think of after reading this is “Nap Time for Borgalorp,” a song from the phonics TV show “Wallykazam” that we watched with our granddaughters 10 plus years ago.
