OK, I learned something, I had to look that one up. Pastis is a drink something like absinthe, sambuca or ouzo. I like ouzo, so maybe I’ll try it some day.

I never liked the puns in the least. I tolerate them because he’s otherwise pretty darn funny. The warning is when you see a lot of nonsensical writing and you can just skip it. It’s usually not even a pun, just the words to some old song.

For those of you who really enjoy puns, I recommend attending the O’Henry Museum Pun-Off “World” Championships, held in Austin, TX.

My wife and I went a couple of times a few years back and it was pretty entertaining. Maybe not “travel across the entire country” entertaining, but worthy of a day’s drive. Coming up next month.
