I just wanna reach into that last panel and cuddle all the boys. They all look so sad.

My Maine Cooon was always getting out. Once he stayed out for three days. We were so happy when he came back, but we made sure that he couldn’t get out again.

A few years ago, Sophie wouldn’t have believed that so many love her.

I wonder if we will get to see Sophie before they find her. I imagine she must be very stressed out. Moving to a new place with familiar people and things was hard for her. Being with strange people in a strange place must be really hard for her.

I wonder if this week’s Sunday strip is going to continue to be part of the arc or if that is over with?

They care so much that Tommy Magnum and ‘Higgins’ Goldie have crossed the street?

But guys, she might not be in the windows. If she is scared she may be hiding under a bureau. Remember what happened when they moved?

Time to call in reinforcements,

I say we form a search party. We have cars, we can cover more areas.

From the look on his face and the slant of his ears, I think Elvis is remembering how scared he was, and he was only missing for 2 weeks in calendar time and overnight in cartoon time.

I think they need reinforcements. They also might need a different plan. It is going to take a long time to look in all the windows in town.

They need to find the car. Aerial surveillance?

They need reinforcements from everywhere.

My heart is breaking for Tommy. He’s a big guy with an even bigger personality, but he looks so small today.

Puck’s comment in the last panel – especially the second half “never thought to worry about being found” and the look on all 3 faces is heart breaking.

Of course this could only means that they was outer space aliens who was abducted her.

FYI, Georgia’s talk at the Charles M. Schulz Museum’s Second Saturday Cartoonist series is today. I contacted the museum to see if streaming the talk was possible. Stephanie King, the Marketing Director, replied, “Unfortunately, we will not have a streaming option for this event. Occasionally, we offer recordings of public programs to our members, but this event will not be recorded.”

So, unless you are able to travel to the event, we will not be able to see it.

If only there was a steenky rat news network they woulda knows which cat is in which house.

Those people must have taken Sophie a fair distance. Elvis’ expressions particularly strike me this time. He knows what this is like.

Ohariko-San: I am most impressed by your fabric art. Who created this textile?

Maat-Tilda: That would be me. Adobe Style and I love to work with fabric. And Sophititi is brilliant with found object sculptures.

Ohariko-San: I wish to introduce my colleagues, the three Tri-Colored Cat Sisters, Kal, Li, and Ko.

Adobe Style: Welcome, one and all. What are your areas of expertise?

Kal-San: I work in faux tortoise shell and other media to create mosaic art.

Li-San: I sculpt with vegatable ivory to make decorations and jewelry.

Ko-San: And I make sculptures out of paper.

Sophititi: That’s wonderful. I’ve tried to make papyrus origami, but it’s really too stiff to use.

Ko-San: Perhaps we can find a supply of origami paper while we’re here.

Not far away

Agnes-Ata: We need to locate a supply of origami paper quickly.

Violet-Ifa: That may take some doing.

Mouse: Perhaps I can be of help.

Agnes-Ata: You wouldn’t happen to be…

Years ago, had a cat that was strictly an indoor cat, but he did get out a few times. My roommate and I were lucky though, as when he got outside, he would just lay on the sidewalk and look like -’I’m outside, what do I do know!’ – and we had time to get him before he had a chance to get away.

Goldie’s purple backpack (?) is so lovely against her fur.

From Georgia yesterday: "We go now live to BREAKING CAT NEWS! I’m posting this (safely! On the secured and permitted in-flight WiFi!) from 35,000 ft in the air, as the Children, the Nana, and I fly to Santa Rosa, CA for my talk at the Charles Schulz Museum tomorrow! I have been reading the comments all week and—I know!!—this is a stressful start to this story! Hang in there, I promise it’ll all be worth it! Too many bold and brave creatures in the BCN world care about Sophie to leave her out there on her own! Help is coming! Today is the first wave in operation “Get Our Girl!”

The BCN team is doing a great job with the local search, but … hm … Since the cats are on much better terms with the raccoons, can they borrow Chitter and Chatter? Those two can cover a much wider area?

My heart is breaking for Sophie.

Although Sophie has a sensitive artist’s soul, she’s got gumption and plenty of smarts. After the wrestling arc, her self-esteem took a shot in the arm, too. I think it would be wonderful if she meets a new friend or two along this journey, and actually meets her rescuers halfway. (How about a new mouse under a boo-row somewhere who knows a mouse who knows a mouse?)

Let me guess, Sophie wii be taken to the Quinn Animal Shelter where she will be recognized and returned home.

The sadness expressed by Elvis’s ears and mouth in panel four is heartbreaking.

Stay in side where it is safe!

Sophie, you need to start singing the Song of Your People, second movement, key of C sharp.

HELP the grey bar of death!

I’m hung up on Saturday’s strip. Mozilla on PC desktop. Have closed every GoComics tab, and done a restart. My other tabs and programs are fine, it’s only GoComics.

Today was a sad day, drove to southern MO to assist my friend and take her Golden Retriever to vet . Was her time to cross the bridge.. Hugs, chin skritches, and head boops to everyone’s fur babies.
