A couple of guys having a picnic together would probably not be interested in a couple of hot girls.

Well, that didn’t work out well.

It was fun to read this mockery of romance novel tropes. I would have liked if Luann and Bernice had met some new friend, but it’s also nice to see them leave feeling worthy and full of optimism. They did have a nice time at the park. They should go on picnics more often, maybe something could happen next time.

Getting to be about that time of year. Revisit some familiar characters as the students move back into the dorms.

Factually, those guys would never pick that spot if Luann and Bernice were still there. Part of its attractiveness is that it’s available.

Luann is half right. ❤️Eiffellette Sexy❤️Luann is, indeed, romance worthy. Burnoose… needs a little work… a LOT of work. Besides, two guys looking for a romantic pic-a-nik are… not interested… in Sexy❤️Luann or Burnoose. Neither one, boy howdy. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Dilly! Dilly and Have an Ann❤️Eiffel Day. : )

Typical – we chicken out right as anything resembling romance or sex gets close to Luann. Meanwhile, even Brad and Gunther seem to be getting lucky every so often. What is this weird obsession with keeping her all pure and virginal?

Ok, I’m going to bet a whole nickel saying that one of the girls has dropped something, or forgotten something, and will have to walk back……

That’s a wrap to dumb and dumber.

In sports and the arts, it’s practice, practice, practice. In business it’s location, location, location. But in comedy and romance, everything is in the… timing.

I don’t my hetero friend and I ever went on a picnic together, but I can see to hetero females doing it.

And so ends another successful exercise in futility for Luann and Bernice. Maybe they will realize they need to get out more often.

The two guys would not have chosen that spot if L and B were still there, there would have been at least the usual distance that strangers tend to keep….not exactly an “if only they had stayed another minute” moment here……

This is the writers’ POV, that their characters don’t appeal to boys.

The strip needs fresh blood. Let Luann meet a guy, Evanses. I thought Bern + Nil were cute until Bern ruined it with being a muse going to her head.
