Finally! I read this earlier on ArcaMax and have been waiting to thank Georgia for bringing us a report from Tabitha and Sir Figaro Newton! It’s so good to see them again.
Speaking of the little pumpkins, the crystal bowl we used to display decorative Fall gourds and little pumpkins for our table top, was destroyed by a certain orange cat, an unrepentant creature of chaos.
This is funny, because my sister just bought some small, solar lit pumpkins! My mom’s cat, Babyface, is walking around them, probably wondering how she should handle them! P.S. She looks just like, Sir Fig!
I was once told, by a teacher who spoke both fluently, that knowing Latin made Spanish easy to learn, and that Spanish was the closest modern language to Latin, since Spanish evolved from Latin. While Latin makes it a little easier to puzzle out the meaning of a Spanish sentence, I found my Latin grammar, pronunciation, and syntax got in the way. My brain kept trying to say, “Non est, sit ________.” (No, it should be _____.)
Puckmosis: Ladies! It’s good to see you again! How was your trip to Brittania?
Agnes-Ata: It was loverly! We visited our friends, had lots of cheese, and learned a lot of the history.
Ta-Natash: It turns out that King Arturos fought a war against his would-be usurper, his nephew Meowdred. But with the help of Murlin, the wizard, he won the day.
Lupinium: Which day did he win?
Violet-Ifa: It was a Monday. And if you can conquer a Monday, you have the week!
Alice-Ata: There are rumours that certain items were supplied by sources no one knows.
Elvis-Amun: Something terrible has happened! The scrolls I was transcribing have all reverted to yesterday!
Beatrixia: Not to worry. The apprentices were making copies with the movable press.
Good stuff! Tab and Fig are back and Gerogia actually explained why the two are so scarce: it’s hard on panel space to use them for reports due to the translation. It’s something I wondered about reading the strip twice. I assumed she simply didn’t have ideas for them anymore as tends to be common for comic strips. I underestimated her.
Tomorrow is Good as Goldie’s official release date, mine is scheduled to arrive tomorrow by 10 PM. Amazon usually seems to show up in the afternoon sometime around here. I just realized the other day I hadn’t finished Everything’s Coming Up Beatrix! I started to read it again. It did answer a question I had, at least I think it did. I think the book is focusing mostly on Goldie’s story looking for her missing people and the early glimpses Lupin and we got of her. I had wondered if the strip showing the moving van would also be included, but I see that was in Beatrix’s book, though I guess that doesn’t mean it couldn’t be in Goldie’s book too.
Also I realized that 2019’s Heck on the Deck storyline might have had a hint at what was going to happen at the next year’s Tesslemania, see April 9, 2019. I mean this is Georgia we are talking about she probably already had Sophie’s storyline in 2020 in her mind a year earlier.
OT: Decorating. I’m thinking of having the picture of Sara that is my current Avatar made into a piece of wall art. Not sure if I want a canvas or other. Currently my walls are a bit bare. I’m in the process of cleaning them up, and it’s going quite well. So much so that I bought a tool to help me reach the higher bits without overextending or climbing a ladder. Gracie does not sit well for photos, so it’s not likely I can find a pic of her to do the same with.

I agree with Sir Fig’s actions. What else are tiny decorative pumpkins for?

What would have been cool is that Tabitha’s microphone had the GN logo. “Gatos de Noticias”

Decorative pumpkins make really gourd cat toys.

For those among you who may have trouble reading the subtitles:
In panel two, Tabitha says “Thanks, Lupin!”
in panel three, she continues: “Our woman bought tiny decorative pumpkins!”
And finally, in panel four, she concludes: “And we are batting them all over the house!”

Missed them both. Sir Figaro appears too infrequently. More tuxedo representation. Tabitha is the soul of elegance.
