Strike Force Feline, begin Operation Occupy The Towels! Code name OOT! Which resembles what The Woman will probably say when she sees you on ALL of the towels.

Timing is critical, both for the bath and, much more importantly, for the cats!

I just read about the “brand new GoComics” coming in April. I wonder if that only applies to subscribers, especially the “modernized commenting platform”? This should be interesting.

May you all have the fluffiest, warmest and most cozy towels to curl up on.

Though I enjoy all your strips, Georgia, I’m especially fond of this one because it definitely takes the cats’ perspective.

I love how Ora Zella reaches for the mic. She’s such a cute diva.

But…but…that’s my laundry routine. Dump everything on the bed and the cats get right into it all!

I hang my clothes on the line. These cats live to stand guard while I hang the laundry and white I bring it in. Braveheart el lay out with the laundry until I bring it in.The boys fun disruption is in the morning while I make the beds. Once again it’s the Braveheart who really gets into walking back and forth on the bed and commenting on what I’m doing.

And somehow me no excited about “brand new” redo of websites. From what me see the experience only gets worser after redesign. Me hope me wrong in this case. But given me experience with websites before… Ya knows what me saying me theenks.

Kinda nice one with Garfield on the header on that Big Changes page though. It was Garfield which leading me to finding Go Comics somewhere around 15 years ago. Me no remember exactly how many years ago. Me no comment back then but me remember seeing that peoples coulda posting peectures in comments too. Maybe thems was removing it later on because steenky spammers or sometheengs.

With the exception of Panel 6, with Elvis using his professional reporter’s face, there are smiles of joy and happiness on both felines and humans in every other panel, which is the perfect way to warm up a cold, snowy Sunday morning! :-)

Our house too. One of our cats is always ready when the laundry comes up, and jumps right in the pile on the bed while it gets folded.

One time he missed the delivery and arrived late on the scene. All that was left was pairing the socks. His little face was so crushed and dejected as he surveyed the detritus on the empty bed, compassion demanded he be draped head to tail with the entire stack of warm socks.

He was found hours later still sound asleep under his socks.

Laundry is not as big of a draw as a freshly made bed or a vacated warm chair.

My cats love it when I dump the warm laundry on the bed. They fight with me for the privilege of unfolding as fast as I fold!

This is what it’s like for “sheet day” in our house. Can’t make the beds until their lunch. :)

OT from Georgia: “Happy 2am, folks! I’m glad so many readers enjoyed and related to this week’s series of strips about favorite weird hyperfocuses and exploring Internet rabbit holes at 2am. I grew up listening to my Nana Dee Dee and Mom (now the Nana) discussing the details of the Lizzie Borden murder together, sometimes with my uncles. In 5th grade, Mom brought me to the original Lizzie Borden museum (before it was in the house), and I loved it. I bought a sweatshirt and wore it for years. Later in high school, I splattered it with red paint and a smeared red hand print sliding down the back and wore it to school I fondly remember our vice principal Dr. V. reluctantly pulling me aside and saying with an exhausted sigh, “Miss Dunn, I can appreciate the creativity here and you’ve done a good job, it certainly looks chilling… but you understand why you can’t wear this shirt to school ever again, right?” I agreed to turn it inside out and it stayed home after that. But hey—I’m grateful he at least cushioned it with understanding the artistic aspect. (…Did I mention myself and Trevor’s Woman were the goth kids in our high school? ) The shirt has sadly been lost to time, but I still fondly remember the trip to the museum and still read up on the case whenever a new angle is proposed! The Everest Mummies are another favorite subject, introduced to me by Trevor’s Woman. And the Carrington Event, which I can’t believe we don’t all hear about (and think about!) more!Do you have a favorite strange fact or story you enjoy learning about? Its my birthday today!!! :) Also, the changes in April are surprising to me.

When I lay out the big fuzzy wolf blanket fresh from the laundromat, my cat’s purr motor goes into overdrive.

None of our cats cared for freshly dried laundry… (Wonders, could I be using the wrong kind of fabric softener?) Nah! I don’t use any of that, nor dryer sheets, I hate how it builds up on the inside of the appliances and smells awful.

It’s a towel extravaganza! They all look so warm and inviting in the last panel.

Elvis is on the bed, but did he get a towel? I guess whoever is on the air gets last choice.

Happy Sunday all! As it is Superbowl Sunday, in reference to that hilarious BCN strip from Jan 12, 2025, are you rooting for the Kansas City Boyfriends or the Philadelphia (Washington in the strip) Seagulls? I may just keep that strip displayed on my laptop during the entire game, LMAO!!!

So… Wait, is my cat the only one who folds the laundry and puts it away? I thought that was normal.

The closest LucyLu get to warm laundry is sitting on the dryer door while I remove it.
