This is nice relationship development—even if friendship.

So a lonely, entitled, mildly depressed young woman, ehose story might intrigue Kip. Of course her roommate Steph is needy also, although Steph once mentioned her parents have to “struggle” to pay her college bills, and cheerleader school on breaks. Interesting subtexts.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if Tiff and Kip have a growing relationship, and then Stef shows up pregnant or with an STD?

I remember the days when I though TJ was completely irresponsible… Now, not so much.

Did she visit one of the shops that only sell tie-ins for the anime ONE PIECE?

If Kip and Tiff do become “soul mates”, Tiff had better move into a new dorm room—or, better yet—to the Manse with Bev and Dez! Just imagine: Tiff, Bev, and Dez in the Manse, with Kip, Gunther, and (maybe) Les living in the pool house! And with Big Daddy chasing the Almighty Dollar around the globe, they could have LOTS of fun there!

Time to stop chatting up Kip, Tiffany. As TJ not so gently reminded you, there are other customers waiting to be served.

I see a possible connection here.

After retirement Tom Farrell will become one of those fathers who spends his days calling his children to ask why they never come to visit him and don’t want to talk to him. He may be successful in his job, but as a father he’s a miserable man.

Yeah, sure, Tiff. The Gunthers of the world would probably kill for a date, but you ignore THEM and lust after idiot jocks. What goes around, Toots.

Well this got incredibly boring incredibly fast. Tiffany is so easily swayed, she went from boy conquest mode to self pity party in about a heartbeat. No chemistry to see here folks, move along, move along.

I will give Tiffany points for consistency. She displays the same poor work ethic that is typical for her age group.

Table 17? Just how big is this place? I imagined a little dining area in the back corner of a performing arts space.

I don’t know if anyone has shown Tiffany this kind of understanding and compassion before. There is a reason we’re drawn to people, this could be the reason she was drawn to him

Maybe Ox saves Tiff from muggers or assault. That would be an interesting plot twist.

I’ve always preferred doing things by myself. Doing things “alone” is not necessarily a bad thing.

And so we turn again, this is going somewhere else, why am I not surprised. ;-)

So, it seems to me that perhaps TJ thought Kip had said:

Kip: “Seems like you’ ve (you have) ignored a lot.”

So, is this arc going to pendulum swing into actually being about a deeper, further exploration of Tiff’s relationship (lack thereof) with her Dad? Or will it revert back to the “origin” story of her desire to be romantically intertwined with Kip?

Prediction: For the next few days, we will learn more about Tiff’s poor daughter/father relationship…. due to the sympathetic, listening ear of Kip. Tiffany will be moved and thankful for Kip’s showing of care for her in this way….. and on Saturday she will give Kip a big “bear hug” of gratitude because Kip helped her feel understood……

And, just as she begins to hug Kip……. Steph walks into " ’Da Fuse" and spots the two of them.

Oh please, Tiffany needs to let this “little daddy’s girl” bit go! There could be a lot of reasons why Tom doesn’t hang out with her. Maybe he’s aware of how people might think they are a may-december couple, maybe he just doesn’t have the same interests, maybe he has to protect his job by being super dedicated, maybe he just finds her whole teen angst thing boring. She needs to leave him alone and quit expecting him to act like he did when she was a little girl. I don’t think she should be expecting the tickle games and hugs and kisses now that she is an adult.

Tiff – i’m sure they have a meat hammer in the kitchen you could borrow to get your point across…

I won’t be surprised Stefani walks in while Tiffany is waiting on table 17 and she and Kip make up. The icing on the cake would be as nightflight posted, telling Kip she is pregnant. The pregnancy ploy could be the way to write Kip and Stefani out of the strip when the time comes, but I think the Evanses still have mileage with them in it.

In either case (or both), that quickly deflated balloon zipping around will be Tiffany.
