You know this is a work of fiction because a real manager would not give a staff member three warnings to get back to work.

I hope it works out for them – but we cannot have Tiffany losing her job.

Her job is not all that Tiffany is about to lose.

Kip may get a new girlfriend – one with no job that he has to support.

A number of commenters here have faulted Tiff for dereliction of duty to her job. They have no sympathy for the degree in which Tiff views this conversation as something of a life-changing emergency. She has been hoping to interact closely with Kip for at least six months and perhaps for as much as a full year. Her expectations may be exaggerated, but her feelings perceive Kip as perhaps “the one”. As such, their importance would seem to override merely commercial considerations like a job. Can we argue with a woman’s priorities and perceptions? We can, but likely to no avail.

On No! Diddy has been hospitalized with an undisclosed knee injury. Shane Stant’s whereabouts are unknown at this time.

She’ll eventually end up with Ox.

The Fuse obviously does not have an extensive roster of servers, otherwise Tiff’s next shift would be at the unemployment office.

Apparently, Tiffany believes two things: (1) There’s not a moment to waste, and (2) There’s no time like the present.

Well, if some “folks” were giving any serious thought to thinking that Tiff and Kip together is a “good idea,” then today’s Strip just threw cold water on that.

Tiff used to be “Stef.” And while she’s changed over the years, Tiff has been known to “backslide,” as illustrated today. There’s only one guy that she’s ever been genuine with, but he’s not here. Plus HE currently the “property” of another gal.

Kip, do yourself and Tiff a favor and give her the standard “Let’s just be friends,” speech.

I hope Ox start to talking to his old pal Kip, to see if Tiffany would get as impatient as Stef or not. Kip seems sincere in wanting to try a new beginning with Tiffany. Let’s see if that happens and how long it lasts.

Ox is the understated true friend that Tiff tends to ignore unless needed.

I must say, if this is supposed to be a prelude to a romantic, passionate affair, it has all the excitement and heat of a board room meeting. It’s like they negotiated their way to hooking up. Boring. Really boring.

Tiff deserves better than this dead-eyed dork. Give Ox a chance.

Oh, I am just waiting for Stef to pop in as Kip and Tiff are heading out the door to go do whatever they plan on doing. Would love to have the ticket rights to that Main Event…

Here’s a weird thought. They start dating, Kip and Tiffany. Three or four weeks pass and things are going well and Kip would like things to become a bit more… intimate. Will Tiffany panic? I don’t recall the “main” cast exploring their sexuality at all. They’ve all been 19 for several years now, but still act like they’re 13, dreaming about dating guys but never actually doing it. As for this arc, it seems more likely to go the “Yeah, I need to consider dating others. Just not you, Tiffany.” route. We’ll see.

Wow, Tiffany thinks she runs the show. But it does make sense that if an emergency comes up, a server can ask that their tables be covered.

Tiff if you like your job you better do what Ox is telling you to do.

So how far will this go? Probably no further than the back seat of someone’s car.
