    Before going to Vietnam, I was sent to boat school at Mare Island, California for 3 months, where we were taught the boats and the weapons mounted on them. During that time we were sent to CI-SERE (Counter Insurgency – Survival, Resistance, Evasion and Escape). Since early in Trump’s time in office I’ve had several “dreams” about SERE, including the field problem. I have also had thoughts and remembrances of the Counter Insurgency part of the raining. They do seem appropriate when applied to the republicans.

    I dreamed of Trump the other night. He was stealing my television and my iMac, babbling something about coal.

    I wonder: I am Italian and I should dream of not a few politicians that I don’t like.

    For the sake of fairness it wasn’t a nightmare.

    Unlike Hitler Trump has good buddies Putin a Xi as examples and very possibly backers for his ambitions. He certainly has a way with the weak minded and uneducated. Many seem drawn to the “strong man” image that they see him as. Because of this he holds power through intimidation. You have seen the republican senators and congress quivering at his every directive have you not. Just send out the sort of people that stormed the capital to stop any politician that gets out of line. Send in an even further right wing politician against any one of them that gets out of line or at least threaten to. He has his base and he can direct them.

    He has learned no lesson other than to cheat more and to cheat more effectively. They are already trying to suppress the vote for 2022 and again in 2024. If you can’t win with a fair election then rig the election even better the next time. And lie biggly and lie more often. Make up the most outrageous lies about your opponents that you can and repeat as often as you can. It is much easier to lie and keep it up than to tell the truth and nothing but the truth. He has much more practice with the lie than the truth.

    Actually you could argue that getting convicted didn’t do any good in that case. But Trudeau didn’t mention the biggest supporters of the latest big lie. Cruz and Hawley come to mind. Maybe sending them to prison for sedition would help? Some people are asking, you know.

    I have always said that Trump is not the problem. He is merely a symptom of a much larger problem, namely his spineless enablers and the voters that elect them. While the majority of voters would prefer bipartisan leaders, a bipartisan candidate cannot win a primary, because enough of the voters who turn out for primaries tend to be extremely partisan. So we often have to choose between two extremists in the general election. And even if they are not extremists, each will try to convince voters of the other’s extremism and resulting danger to life as we know it. In the end Trump and Hitler both recognized, tapped into, and stoked deep seated racial extremism in the electorate. Anyone who thinks racism was conquered by the Civil Rights movement is sadly mistaken. It kept a low profile for decades, only to re-emerge when Obama was elected.

    There is a direct line from trump to the Insurrectionists to the Pentagon’s delayed response, you need to expose it. Congress was suppose to fall that day, so trump could stay in power.

    The biggest differences are that Trump doesn’t have Hitler’s brains or ambition. Trump is just a dumb con man who won without really expecting to. Once he had power, he didn’t really know what to do with it beyond settling petty personal grudges and enriching himself and his buddies. He did a lot of damage but could have done a lot more.

    Plus, Trump is elderly and in poor health, unlike Hitler who was still young and healthy when he left prison. Trump most likely won’t be around in 2024, and if he is he won’t be in any shape to run for office. And his kids don’t have his talent or charisma.

    We certainly need to be vigilant. Democrats have to continue to work hard to win in 2022. But I don’t think Trump himself is going to be around long enough to follow Hitler’s path.

Trump is much older and not likely to be around in 10 years but his spawn are still lurking. Like Hitler, Trump is more than a person. He’s a terrible movement that needs to be stopped.

    Trump is no Hitler. He is old with significant health issues, and he lacks Hitler’s charisma, cunning, fanaticism, and energy. However, there are people with these resources who were watching what Trump was able to do with one of the two decayed American political parties and have taken notes, and I think we’ll be hearing from them in the next ten or twenty years as the country continues to decline. Upper Volta with ICBMs, or whatever it was they used to say about Russia. If I were a young adult and wanted to have some kind of life, I think I’d move to another country or at least to one of the more remote parts of this one.

    This Trudeau guy is a total reprobate for thinking it is ok to name and make comparisons to Hitler when 75 milllion voters were disenfranchised by the actions outlined in the Time Magazine expose’. In fact Biden was run out of the 1988 presidential consideration due to his plagiarism and the fact that the DNC did not want to waste any more time and money covering up for him. It took an entire generation of subversion to rid his memory and garner votes based on fallacy. I find it appalling that so many of the DNC disciples did not do even the most cursory of youtube searches to find that out. This cartoon is not worth the paper it is printed on except that it could serve as Trudeau’s resignation soon.

So when Trump spurred the mob of traitors to attempt to over-throw our democracy he proved himself to be the HEAD traitor. And when the smaller mob of traitors (43 Republican Senators) voted to acquit Traitor Trump instead of to convict Traitor Trump, they proved themselves to be the worst type of cowards. As Josef Göbbels knew, if you control the language, you control the conversation. It’s the same deal with right-wing phraseology: It’s a language all its own. So, in an effort to promote better communication in American politics, here’s a start on a handy right-winger-to-normal-English dictionary:

    fake news = honest reporting

    enemy of the people = free press

    alternative facts = lies

    tort reform = corporate protection bill

    tax relief = billionaire enhancement program

    right to work = kill unions

    healthy forests initiative = chop down more trees

    clear skies act = no more birds

    patriot act = civil liberties farewell tour

    patriot = vigilante

    dangerous criminal element = young Black men

    cost-effective corrections = for-profit prisons

    enhanced interrogation techniques = torture

    judicial activists = judges who’ve read the Constitution

    secure elections = voter suppression

    election integrity = preventing Blacks, Latinos, poor people, and students from voting

    chain migration = family reunification

    invaders = asylum seekers

    rapists and murderers = Mexicans

    security threats = Canadians

    decisive leaders = authoritarian dictators

    support our troops = socialism for military contractors

    good people = racists and fascists

    abstinence education = sexual ignorance

    no child left behind = standardized testing for all

    Satanic mind-rotting plot = evolution

    just some egghead’s opinion = science

    religious liberty = Christian fundamentalism for all

    values voters = shameless self-righteous hypocrites

    clean coal = dirty coal

    world’s greatest hoax = climate change

    that which may not be spoken = climate change

    [obscenity redacted] = climate change

    health-care system = health-insurance jungle

    health-care plan = don’t get sick, or die quickly

    Stalinism = Obamacare

    Benghazi = Pearl Harbor

     (to be continued)

He’s a malignant narcissist who is incapable of caring about anyone or anything except for himself. He’s a congenital, pathological, and compulsive liar.
