I wonder where this is heading? I know some people think Kip may get injured during the game. I think that’s possible. G+K definitely have a reason for them all being at the game…
We are actually at a game! To the guy on Tiffany’s who asked about body paint, she should reply just nail polish, :They’re “Tuff as Nails” And can disembowel a moose in 20 seconds. As for Bets, she went somewhere without Gunther?
Hey look, there’s real kids acting like real students at a football game. But Tiff and Bets are so sadly out of place. Tiff goes to a game dressed like her grandmother?
The reason I generally avoid going to sporting events in person. 98% of the people there can be sane and respectful, but when the crowd size is 80,000 people then I’m still stuck with 1600 obnoxious morons
In real life I don’t recognize faces very well, but in today’s strip the lady in the audience carrying the sign “Mules Rule” reminds me of Luann’s mom and the guy in the bunny ears reminds me of Brad.
So much for the one who doubted that we would see the game. Technically, we have not yet seen the action on the field, but a huge component of what TV sells with college football is atmosphere. It’s about packed on-campus stadiums with rowdy student sections, and the NFL can’t match it. The Evans are depicting the darker side of atmosphere in today’s strip.
One has not truly lived until they have witnessed in person, or perhaps participated in a field-storm after a game. It’s quite the experience to see the goal posts get torn down. I can still remember the sound of 4×4 wooden goalposts being ripped down, at the end of the 1970 Rose Bowl, and have had my share of on-field moments in years since then. College football is something uniquely special, and I hope that its’ current, rapidly evolving landscape does not lose sight of what made it special in the first place.
Bets has found herself in an even crazier crowd than the ones at ComiCons and seems lost. Luckily, she has Tiffany by her side, who knows sports fanatics well and can advise her. Now let’s see if something happens to Kip or Stef. I hope Ox is out there playing, it’s weird that he doesn’t seem to be part of the team.
Wow, I like how Tiffany has become the sharp one with the dry sense of humor time. Kinda snuck that one in there didn’t they? Which characters are missing from the last few weeks, where do we go from here? , hmmm….. ;-)
I like to see Bets andiffany as coed girlfriends, particularly Tiff. She is much happier being herself and in a social setting rather than all alone in that miniMansion.
So either Kip’s going to get injured and Stef’s going to immediately dump him since she literally only wants to play out the trope of the head cheerleader dating the star QB, or Stef’s going to get injured and turn to her quadmates while recovering to help her figure out who she is when she can’t make cheerleading be 100% of her identity

Hey.
What’s a football game without its compliment of Drunken Morons?
And while the ladies attempt to enjoy the game, they might want to keep the pepper spray and Tasers handy…….., ;+)

Down there or up here?
