I spy the back of Goldie’s head & Lupin’s head and toe beans! (for those of you who are into that) I’m heading to TX tomorrow and won’t be back until the 2nd so I may not be commenting for a while. Don’t worry Witchie all is well, except for the (huge) fact that Momma will be missing. so in case i’m not able to log on next Thurs, I’d like to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate. I pray that we all have a lot to be thankful for and if not that that would soon change. Sending love and hugs to all y’all.
Well, to be fair, she did take his cassette recorder without asking – and erased all his recordings. He kinda has just cause to be a little miffed, at least until the air is cleared.

When I came back, I picked up my bathrobe to put it back on and found (the first time) Sunny, then (the second time) Sooti, was curled up on the chair under the robe.
After living together in relative harmony for more than eight years, I was compelled to rehome one of my pair several months ago because he’d inexplicably turned aggressive toward the other, and the consulting animal behaviorist and I were unable to mend the rift.
Introducing a new cat into an established pride is not to be undertaken cavalierly, no matter how much compassion tugs at our heartstrings.
Lupin appears to have become fluffy. :-) Dexter, a 17 pound tuxedo we once had, was three when we brought home a twelve week old kitten. He took a look at her and ran away into a hallway where he puked. She grew up to be around eight pounds and he was always scared of her.
In the real world, I would not bring a sick cat directly into my house like that. The cat crate and straight to the vet to make certain the rest of the cats will remain healthy. Yes, I’m paranoid.
I gradually added cats to my household until I had four. Although they had previously ignored newcomers, the four cats began to crowd at the door when any new cat appeared outside. “No room! No room!”
Meav has only forgiven Jasper the Great Dane for joining the pack a year and half ago because now she has to deal with His Majesty the kitten. I don’t know if she is teaching him how to be a cat or he is teaching her.
The NO-NO bottle has been a success. I don’t have to use it now. The words no no get his attention now. I say no no and he stops what he is doing thinks a second and goes to do something else. That’s all I needed out of the bottle. It wouldn’t work on the other cats because they were water cats and loved the water bottle. Foil on the counters won’t work for this guy either. He loves foil and is scared of nothing except the water bottle.Tape, well he thinks is it so tasty.
OT, sort of: I’ve been informed that for Christmas I’ll be taking Mrs. Drang to see the new movie version of Cats. Dame Judi Dench as Old Deuteronomy. Ian McKellan as Gus. Idris Elba as McCavity. Taylor Swift as Bombalurina.
I assume with the running theme of Lupin disliking Goldie since she was introduced that the real Lupin didn’t get along great with Goldie. Hopefully that changed.
going to be a long weekend. running to rescue a kitten. The kitty has been abused by the person’s son so I will foster her until i can find a new home for her. second rescue kitty this year LOL i just have to say will find her a home will not keep will not keep…..
