Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Iâll still take it over the old multivitamins when I was a kid that tasted straight-up like dirt. I know medicines getting sweet flavorings is a luxury, but I donât understand how those caplets used to sell with having 10% bitterness and 90% sand as the flavor profileâŠ
Normally those vitamin jars have little packets of silica gel to absorb the water. Anyhow I agree with the Duck above about the Flintstone Chewables, they never stuck together as well as One a Day and Centrum.
Uh, Lu? Check the expiration date on that bottle of vitamins, BEFORE consumption. And since theyâve all touched your hand, chew them ALL. Or chew one, and chuck the rest. COVID protocols donât âcha know.
And whatâs this? Avocado Toast again? What happen to all those yummy, crispy pancakes Ms Bernice used to fix for breakfast?? I say, you had better meddle in Bernâs business forthwith, and get to the bottom as to WHERE sheâs been sneakinâ around with. (Jack) and with âWho.â (Jack,Jack). â [Sorry, friends. Been practicing Morse Code] ;)
And get your pop to help expose her little âsecretâ and burn Bernâs âlittle playhouseâ down. Heâd BETTER if he ever wants to enjoy those artery clogging flapjacks again. Only THIS time, with BACON!
PS: And Iâd CHARGE Benjamin for this âserviceâ if âIâ were You.
Vitamins? Iâd suspect that maybe Dez had gotten Luann on a healthier diet. But, commercial vitamins, and, what looks to be bagels from a commercial bakery wouldnât be what Dez would âprescribeâ for a healthy breakfast. (Iâd suggest that maybe those vitamins were something else that a young woman might take daily. But as far as I know the product Iâm thinking of, doesnât come in a jar, doesnât stick to gether, probably wouldnât want to take them in front of Frank, and, unless she just being prepared, doesnât need them, because Luann hasnât come close to needing to prevent unintended consequences from certain activities.)
My capsule vitamins have those little pillows that attract moisture. Helps keep the gel capsules from sticking together! And I save them in a jar in case my phone gets wet. Saw you can use them to dry out the phone. Havenât needed to try to though. Thankfully. ;-)
open the ketchup, stick a bread knife in there and swirl it around a couple of times. remove the knife wipe as much on the item you want ketchup on and then if need pour more. It allows air to enter the mix. NOW if you shake it up the air bubble you created breaks down and distributes throughout, making it easier to pour.
So, next Sunday, continuing in this direction, Frank struggles to open his pill bottle. Canât get the cap off. Starts cussing. Luann comes by and opens it in 2 seconds. Frank fumes. The âHa Ha silly Dadâ type of Sunday strip. Or has this already been done?
Itâs interesting that this âtoon appears in the collection of strips classified by GoComics as âPopularâ, but, on the âA through Zâ collection of all strips, the one from October 24 is featured.
Whose bright idea was to make a vitamin supplement in a gummi like candy? Medicine should never look like candy. Yes, it is possible to overdose on some vitamins.

Sounds like an old personâs complaint.

Like ketchup: takes a while for the stuff to come out of the bottle when shaken and pounded until it all comes out at once.
marilynnbyerly over 4 years ago
Put a Tum in there. It helps.
dadoctah over 4 years ago
I really only got that when I was taking CoQ-10. I suppose itâs more of a problem for people who take the vitamins in gummy form.

Look like Luann needs to go back to the Flintstones Chewable Vitamins.
BJShipley1 over 4 years ago
Is Luann eating two big chocolate chip cookies for breakfast? I envy her.

I always hate it when the bottle gets constipated.

Why I take pills or liquid since being an old fart I had to take a lot.

Luann takes a vitamin. One lousy vitamin. I think I have a miniature pharmacy.

Check the label.
Brown and large.
I think Luann may have prostrated herself.

I have a vitamin supplement like that. Iâve learnt to store the bottle upside down and then itâs easy to get at the blob and remove one.

Itâs a problem that probably no one will be able to solve. At least that wasnât the case of a sauce. For this time.

Go down to Home Depot and have âem run the bottle through the paint can shaker.

Yeah, they stick together. In unity there is strength.
And their color-coating rubs off on your fingers.
Still worth it, Luann. Just âshake before openingâ!

They look like gummy bears, but theyâre not.

Or, do what I do, with the lid on, shake the jar until they come loose, then pour 1 into your hand.Vit D3 and Vit E caps always stick together
david_42 over 4 years ago
I just tap the container on the counter and the pills separate.
jeanie5448 over 4 years ago
I was saying pretty much the same thing about my gummie vitamins yesterday. But way easier to take than another pill.
drewpamon over 4 years ago
Little bit fewer vegan meals and maybe you wonât need the vitamins in the first place luann.
