Is the rolling up the sleeve content a bit of sarcasm from Elvis? Everyone else seems impressed that The Man has managed to stay in shape during this past year of lockdowns and COVID. Good of Georgia to incorporate this important step in recovery from the COVID in her strip!

The wife and myself got our vaccinations last month at the old greyhound track here in Tampa (good they found a use for that place since the racing has been banned last year) After Florida lowered the eligible age from 60 to 50. My daughter Amy got hers in Tallahassee at FSU before Spring Semester ended along with almost all the students she knows last month so we are fully vaccinated in the household.

I look at it this way: Our Georgia wouldn’t have anything (or anyone) less than a total hunk, super buffed, handsome Man!

Still more incentive to get the shots—the CDC’s announcement that the fully vaccinated (that is, two weeks past the second shot) no longer have to wear masks except under some very specific circumstances. Hallelujah!!! at last! Although I will continue to keep a mask in my pocket at the gym in case of over-enthusiastic huff-and-blowers.

Reminds me of when I got recalled to active duty for Desert Storm. Now as I said, I have SEVERE reactions to Flu shots, but for other shots, never show any symptoms or reactions. Weird I know, but there it is.

Well, that time at 29 Palms, prior to deployment, I had to get a bunch of shots because my shot record was lost(plus some Desert Storms shots), and a lot of were in line getting shots. I pulled a rookie. He bent three needles on my arm…

The arm has to hang limply at your side to be relaxed. It really does make a difference in how much muscle bruising results.

When I got my first shot< i had the misfortune to be led past a beer-bellied man who had made the poor choice of wearing a snug long-sleeved T shirt and had to take it off in front of everybody so they could get to his arm. Did he think they were going to give it to him through his sleeve? Yikes!

There is a news story from Chicago about a cat jumping 5 stories and making a perfect landing. It’s an oh my gosh video. I am on my phone and don’t know how to post the link.

Soon, I hope, it will be the kids’ turn to get vaccinated.
