Oh, dear. Does this mean you have just lost a beloved kitty, Matt? If so, I am so sorry for your loss. From your drawing, your cat loved you as much as you loved him/her. What a little sweetie and such a loving tribute. RIP.

What a beautiful tribute to a loyal, furry soul. Now my monitor is going all blurry because this kitty looks so much like my dearly departed Miss Kitty. She lives on with me in my memory, my once and forever cat.

Matt, I am so sorry for the loss of your buddy. This is such a lovely tribute and I am weeping with you. I pray you find comfort and peace in your memories.

On 6/29/20 you posted a beautiful tribute of Bird taking the scenic route with Death. It helped me so much as my wonderful dog had left for the bridge on 6/26. I have a great photo of the sun beaming in on the late Spotty. She was a dilute calico and had beautiful markings. It’s on the front of her box and the inscription on the top reads: “Spotty, our ray of sunshine. Your light still burns bright.”

Matt, they stay with you forever. Last night I dreamed about Funny Face, who left me in 2011. In my dream she was curled up half on my shoulder and half on my chest, and we were walking everywhere together, even to an eatery. I woke up remembering her soft, beautiful fur, and her complacent, cuddly being.

Matt, Hugs and purr bumps to you and your whole family. I’d like to say it gets better, but it just stays different. Some days good different and others, not so good. Take time to be with your family.

What a loving tribute.

I’m not crying, you are…..

I lost my beloved Vlad on Jan. 4th of this year. He died of cancer. I cried when I was given the diagnosis about this time last year. With the steroids/heart medicine I was given, we got an extra 7 months together. He always greeted me at the door, I would pick him up and put him on my hip like a human child, we would go to the sofa and sit for a while before I would change my pants. He didn’t always wanted to be cuddled, but when he wanted love, I always made sure he got it. Sometimes he would be so happy, he would drool! He always somehow got my hair on his head when he cuddled on my shoulder. When it was time, I cut my hair, tied it, and asked that it would be cremated with him. I now wear some of his ashes in an little silver sleeping cat next to the ashes in a locket for my other two kitties that passed away 13.5 years ago. I ceased to be his guardian, he is now mine.

So sorry to hear this. But as sure as there is Dog Heaven, there is also Cat Heaven.
