Well, there it is, folks. This is maneuvering us into Greg’s end plan. He has put Tiff and Gunther together before, and now, we see that he has had Gunther react in a way he probably has not for Bets. Greg got dumped on by a cheerleader in school, so now he is going to saddle Tiff, the ex – cheerleader with Gunther. On the other hand, he is going to reward the nerd with a cheerleader. Funny, I always figured it would be Luann and Gunther riding off into the sunset.

First things FIRST.

Congrats to all who thought the mystery man would be Gunther. Which seems to have been 95% percent of the readership. “No Prizes” will be mailed to each and every one of winners. So be sure to camp out at your mailbox.

So. Does this mean that Gunther is the first guy to ever see Tiff naked? I’m not going to get into the argument that he first saw her in the buff back in 2015. (Yeah, Yeah, I know. He’s acting like this is the first time he’s seen her naked) The fact of the matter is, he’s DEFINITELY seeing her naked now, and he’s not looking away.

Next, questions:

What will Tiffany’s reaction be next week when she realizes Gunther is getting a good look? Will she scream and lock herself in her room, or linger a bit before getting dressed? And keep in mind, Tiff had no qualms about Gunther seeing her “Au Naturale” back in 2015.

Is Gunther there to see Bets? Seems like he would have called first. On the hand, Bets has dropped in on Gunther without warning numerous times in the past at His place. And where did Bets go this arc, if not to see Gunthe?

Called it yesterday, told you to mark it! (it was pretty obvious so I won’t claim to be Nostradamus) but it does make for a spicy turn of events!

So if Gunther likes what he saw, is Bets history? Or maybe Bets dumps him, when he tells here what she saw. Bets walking into the dorm in Monday’s strip.

Dez is very uncool. She opens the door and stops Tiff by talking when she knows Tiff is nude. A friend would have known not to let a guy into the view or room.

I’m with cap9 – I don’t think it is Gunther, either – though that would be the G&K modus operandi (to have it be Gunther).

HOORAY! GUNTHER IS THE GUY! The only one with which Tiffany feels so comfortable that she will not die of awkwardness after this incident. Because it’s hilarious, but it’s still an accident. There are years that I’ve been hoping for they to start to be in a relationship, but how could this change their dynamic? Gunther will not be able to forget what he’s seeing now and that will lead to his breakout with Bets? Or would Tiffany finally talk with Dez about her feelings for him and that will make her realize she loves him? These things or is it just an awkward moment? I don’t know, but I’m really enjoying this. Tiffany and Gunther’s expressions are awesome!

Way back in her high school days she had no trouble appearing in a skimpy bikini to sit in a dunk tank (I forget what year that was). It’s amazing what a psychological difference a couple of very small pieces of cloth can make. As a naturist myself, I have always considered this the biggest oddity among humans. What is so horrible about the human body?

And so it continues. I knew it when Gunth and Bets were in a “Tiff.” It might take long time, because these guys like to drag things out for YEARS, but eventually Gunther and Tiffany will get together.

Karen is always so mean. She doesn’t remember how she wrote the story for Bets and Gunther’s reunion, with Bets realizing how much he means to her and seeing her future with him (complete with children). Now we get to see them break up over Tiffany.

Some posters here believe that not only has Gunthie seen Tiff naked before, but that the two of them had sex.

I think the last panel in this strip disproves that.

If at some point in the past Gunthie had not only seen Tiff naked, but also had sex with her, he wouldn’t be standing there now with his mouth hanging open looking like he’d been poleaxed. I’m surprised he didn’t pass out.

Well this should settle it for those who always thought Gunther and Tiffany got wild after the salamander hunt. But now it looks like he’s getting his first ever look at her au natural and he LIKES what he sees.

Am I the only one bored by this? I remember being around a lot more casual nudity in college. In any case I’d think that an unexpected visitor at the door would just say “Oh excuse me” and avert his eyes. Not enough ensuing hilarity I guess. Freaking out at nudity seems to be an ongoing bit in the Luannverse. (Reactions to Jack modelling, Dez on the camping strip, Gunther in high school with a costume slip if I remember.)

Gunther: “Okay, Dez, thank you but three’s a crowd. Find me a towel, and I’ll take it from here.”

Dang, Gunther is acting like he’s never seen a woman naked. Oh right… he probably hasn’t until now.

Others have said it better than I.

Assuming it’s Gunther (I’m still not that sure, but the plot possibilities would seem to drive that possibility), it looks like we’re in for a three-ring circus, Gunther, Bets, and Tiffany.

G&K conveniently forgetting that touching arc where Bets imagines having a family with Gunther.

Not likely this arc is over. I wonder if and how they’ll work Luann into this mishap – about the only thing that could make everything worse. (That does seem to be Luann’s job these days – making things worse, that is)

I’d close my mouth, as Dez asked, but not my eyes!

I usually stick up for Dez, but not today. WHY did she let Gunther into the room when she could see Tiff was naked?? That makes Dez seem very oblivious to normal human feelings.

Obviously Gunther has never seen a naked female before. Except maybe his mom.

Let’s parse this, shall we? So Dez runs into someone she refers to as “this guy” meaning she doesn’t know him at all, and isn’t aware that Tiffany knows him (because otherwise she’d have said something like “I ran into my/your/our friend Gunther” .) So she meets what she thinks is some totally random dude and brings him back to her dorm for some reason, which BTW is already wildly out of character for her. And once her and this stranger enter the dorm and see one of her roommates stark naked (and obviously in distress at the situation) she proceeds to try and engage her in conversation with this stranger standing right there with his jaw hanging open. I admit I’m not fully clued in on how nudists work, but isn’t a key part of the lifestyle about being comfortable, not gawking, and knowing that not everyone feels the same and respecting their beliefs? Because Tiffany is obviously uncomfortable with being seen like this, yet Dez is totally unconcerned and not reading the giant social cues, and even allowing this total stranger she brought over to gawk at her. This strip is portraying the nudist lifestyle about as well as Fifty Shades of Grey portrayed the BDSM subculture.

I’ve said it before but today really hammers the point home: Dez is an awful friend and roommate. That may not be her intention, but her cluelessness still negatively affects the people around her. Tiffany would be fully justified in reporting this to campus authorities, if I’m not mistaken (anyone here college-aged and can verify? What’s the stance on bringing dudes over to leer at your female roommates while they’re undressed?)

My, my, look at all the comments. A little (out of panel) nudity sure generates interest. Maybe the authors do know what they’re doing.

While we obviously know Dez is very comfortable with casual nudity, she’s also clearly aware that Gunther is gawking at Tiff enough to joke about it. That means she saw a roommate coming out of the shower and went out of her way to make the situation more awkward by dragging in Gun to let him ogle her instead of closing the door and affording her roomie a few seconds to get back to her room. It honestly unendears me to her a bit.

Next week is going to be fun

Seeing something he never thought he’d see. (Heck, I never thought I would see this much of her.)

This could be a great cartoon if Dez was deleted from each panel and the second panel showed Tiff with her hands on her hips saying to Gunther, “Did you bring a towel?”

Lots of us guessed it was Gunther. I notice that even wet, Tiffany still seems to have “helmet hair”.

I remember a Luann strip a number of years ago where Luann saw Gunther in the altogether.

I don’t expect Gunther will react as if he suffered sever trauma seeing a nekkid Tiffany, the way Luann did when she saw him.

First big laugh I’ve had at this strip in years!!

Luann lives a boring lackluster socially deprived life at home with her parents and frenemy, Bernice, while Tiffany is engaged in all kinds of shenanigans. Tiffany has finally one-upped Luann and taken over the comic strip which will soon be renamed ‘Tiffany’.

It is Gunther, of course, but I see the point of those who are doubting. He’s upgraded his style from the usual buttoned to the top checked shirt.

If I walked into a room and saw someone naked and surprised, I would turn away and not look at them. What kind of creep stands there staring at them. Pervert.
