Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
On a side note, our good friend Leading Edge helped me modify an old Doonesbury script to address the COVID pandemic. I would post a link to it but it’s already been removed from Twitter, and I’m afraid I might be banished from here if I post it.
What a brilliant, gorgeous comic this is. Just pen and ink, spare drawing, three panels. Calvin surveys the snow/landscape like an artist sees a canvas. He works on his vision. The final effect. No words needed whatsoever.
When I was a kid, I used to binge-read the collected edition books, even though I would still read the comics in the paper on Sundays. Reading it daily now, as “a grown-up,” I’m reminded every day why Calvin and Hobbes is my favorite comic of all-time. Even just the art in that last panel made me laugh out loud.
Great prank on the dad! I probably would have reacted the same way but then after the initial shock, I would be laughing. I’d even have to give him credit for a good one.

This explains why Calvin’s parents hate him.
And why they never had another child.
cdward about 3 years ago
Calvin shows true artistic genius and should be doing Christo-esque art installations at this point.
Who, me? about 3 years ago
Calvin recreated himself, spiky hair and all.

A choice between Calvin’s snowmen and Wiley’s Bears, is a toss-up of pure fun. Either is great. Together hilarious.
