Most of us insist on making our own mistakes, though. Don’t be like most of us, Iggy, at least not today.

I like how this story is working in some of Baba’s backstory from the Golden Mouse storyline that newspaper only readers wouldn’t know about.

He was a bit of a cad, but “unscrupulous” is a shade too strong. Can’t blame Baba for using the word, though.

Awww, the new cats don’t know they’re only a few yards from the safe end of their adventure. And the start of new ones.

Y’know, I’d have thought the Man and Woman would have been in there by now? Are they preparing their excuses for Bookshop lady? “Sorry about Beatrix; our house ate her?”

I want to hear boy kitty’s story about why he and the girl kitty ran away. I have a feeling it might have been her idea.

Kitty loaf alert!

The owl and the pussy-cat went to sea, in a beautiful pea-green boat.

I want to see Iggy smile. He always looks so sad. He’s probably in a lot of pain from the infection.

Has it seemed that a number of people have disappeared from the boards? Do any of you ever see Pixi Kitten post anymore, or JDP Huntington Beach post?

Baba is still dropping lessons! I forget, did the July Bug flashback saga happen before or after Wicket? I think after because Clover recorded Wicket and in the Jules arc Baba says it’s good to see him again, implying it’s post-shelter time. I also love all the contented sleepers in panel 4, Angus included.

It was all fun and games until the money proved to be not plentiful enough, the jar of honey broke, and they had to sell the pea-green boat to buy food.

This must be the place iggy

If we could discern in advance what will be less fun and more trouble, imagine how many valuable learning experiences we could avoid.

Our daughter had a delightful cat named Eva. She was a rescue, found in a Dumpster. She didn’t want to talk about her past.

Not really OT: Happy National Cat Day!

For Owl and the Pussycat see 06/27/2016. The story arc begins on 6/20.

I always think of Wicket as having Englebert Humperdink’s (the singer, not the composer) voice: “What’s new pussycat? Whoaawhoawhooooo!”

I recently adopted a cat who had spent most of his life outside. He is very happy and most grateful to be an indoor kitty now!

So many sad Iggy expressions – I really want to see a happy, fangy smile soon!

I heard an owl tonight. I hope all of the regular outside cats in the neighborhood hear and understand the danger. Ours are all indoors.

Evolution has resulted in a species where most are relentlessly seeking the “better deal”, no matter what their current situation.
