Still no charges or sanctions on the members doing the recon tours just prior to the 6th? Only in America, you are too weak to do anything about seditionists trying to overthrow your government. It’s like you want it to happen.

Fox has taken 2 measures to ensure journalistic integrity (very hard to write that with a straight face). First, there will be an attorney sitting next to “news” reporters to immediately correct future lies and delusions they spread. Second, there will be a “lie” jar. Reporters will be required to kick in a few bucks every time they spread lies and delusions to go towards future defamation suits Fox loses … /s

We were watching the live feed, in real time, on Jan 6, frozen and horrified at the violence and mayhem taking place. The coverage, at first, was showing the smaller crowd on the side opposite of the building from the main action. That mob appeared to be breaching the building first so they were being focused on.

We were floored by the coverage coming from inside once they got in. We commented on the weird disconnect between the crush outside, breaking windows and doors to get in, and then the tourist-like decorum of folks calmly parading through the hall. It was a stream of giddy people who were mostly obeying the ropes, chatting, laughing, taking selfies and video of the scene and hall, all with the guards watching and even smiling along, just like it was a normal day on the tour. The guards were even chatting and politely showing them out!

We kept yelling at the TV, incredulous why weren’t they all being arrested? What aren’t you calling for back up? Why aren’t you doing anything? They aren’t supposed to be there!! They broke a police line and broke in! Don’t you know what is happening on the other side!!??

I turned to my spouse and said, “This is just bizarre! Maybe the guards are trying to not escalate things because they are out numbered, or….. oh my God?! Could the “guards” just be plants for the camera, and are actually in on it?”

The pieces started to fall into place, “I bet this crowd is the decoys. I’m guessing they were given careful instructions for when they got in to be calm, be respectful, and just walk through, don’t make a scene, and to make it look like the whole thing was just a standard protest to prove they have power, and can’t be locked out of the People’s house.” A false flag for the actual seditious agenda unfolding across the building.

I went on, “How much you wanna bet Fox goes on and uses this video to prove it wasn’t a violent riot?”

I wish I had the same prescience with my lottery numbers.

Wife and I were just talking about this, the 41,000 hours of video that reportedly proved that 1/6 was nothing more than “legitimate political discourse.” It’s classic conservative numbnut stuff. A big production is made over some bit of news that will prove after all that the numbnuts were right about some, say, conspiracy theory all along. They present the information, in this case, what, about 7 minutes of video (from 41,000 hours!!!). Talking-head numbnuts sit around and explain the devastating significance of what’s being revealed as per the Libs. The bit of news gets passed around on social media and on the numbnut news outlets for a few days. (Think video clips of Rand Paul smarmily accusing Dr. Fauci in a hearing of being the devil incarnate.) And in no time, even the numbnuts realize that their latest gambit makes them look like numbnuts, and they drop it. Yet, it never ends, for now they have to go looking for something new or attempt to resurrect something old. If Hunter Biden’s laptop were an old dog, it would have three legs, no teeth, be deaf and blind, be incontinent, and have failing mental capacities, but it still wouldn’t be put down.

Remembering that it was all enabled by defacto GOP Party leader Mitch McConnell, down to the state level. Most still stand behind Trump, but don’t look to the state’s press to hold them accountable or inform their citizens on anything more than sports and restaurant openings. At this rate, it’s looking like their first attempt at an insurrection was just a practice run for 2024.

The amazing part, during the 60s riots in DC, they had 5 gallon buckets of dishwashing soap by the doors and in hall closets; it mixes well with marble floors and when you add water does wonders to breathing and eyes. But those who do not read history are doomed to repeat it, only dumber!
