Tiffany runs to the window with binoculars in hand as if it were the most important thing, it is both funny and tragic to see her like this. Even her room impresses me. Completely tidy and almost empty, with only one (framed) painting on the wall. It’s so bare it makes me sad, it looks more like an office than a room. It’s the opposite of Luann’s messy but vital room. Tiffany has problems, in general and in this situation in particular. The fact that this time the painting is Munch’s “The Scream” makes that even clearer.

Oh, Tiffany, how far you’ve fallen in terms of coolness… Spying on a guy, too scared to approach him on your own property? Using binoculars like a 12 year old in a treehouse in an 80s movie? It’s your pool just walk there. Has her self-confidence gotten that low? It’s actually kind of sad to think Luann (LUANN!) might have been more willing to approach a potential boyfriend than Tiffany (she did with Piro). I hope Tiffany boosts her self-esteem.

Hey Tiffany …call up the old gang and invite them to a pool party. That makes it ok to be in the pool with Kip. (maybe we will see that other blonde girl)

Showing my age here, but anyone remember the scene from Fast Times at Ridgemont High, when Brad (Judge Reinhold) was caught spying on Linda (Phoebe Cates) in the swimming pool?

I have a body which helps women avoid such temptations. I am that good.

Just sad, to see her all by herself in a room that has nothing, she has more friends than this, Why don’t she just go down a take a swim.

The lady of the house sitting locked up in her bedroom because she has a guest. That would be like me inviting the neighbors over and then hiding in the bathroom. Are they sure they want to portray Tiffany like this? WHY are they portraying her character as being so terrified of Steffanie? It’s not attractive, and definitely not funny.

And Tiffany, if you want to look, it’s a lot better close-up. Don’t be such a wuss.
