Too hot for sunbeams here, even for cats. My cats’ favorite spots are currently the bathroom floor and the windowless hallway (both have tiles).

Sunshine on Elvis’s back side makes me smile!

My girls have multiple recharging points in my house. I wouldn’t want them to get as rundown as Elvis is in the second panel!Also, Gracie seems to get a nice dose of Vitamin Zoomie from her favorite treats as well. They are both currently powered down and in Stand-By Mode.

If sun is not available, the desk lamp is my Siamese’s alternative.

I think my mom puts some of that vitamin in her cats dinners some times. They get the zoomies even after the sun has set!

He didn’t even have to strip down to sunbathe.

How does the belly absorb Zoomie through a shirt?

Any news from maizing?? Hoping all has gone well with her this past week!

That would explain why my Sophie never gets the zoomies. She doesn’t spend any time on the windowsill, so she must be deficient in Vitamin Z.♥

Cats without charging stations can be doomed.

So very true! I see my furbabies recharging their zoomies all the time. :)

Foxy sunbathes in the afternoons, whereupon she is called Poofy Sun Girl or Poofy Sun Kitty. She doesn’t get the zoomies often anymore, but when she does it’s usually around 4-5 a.m.

It is important to let your cat, recharge…however never over charge your cat! Their Zoomie batteries, may explode!

I’ve always said cats are solar-powered.

Monroe is especially imbued with the need to go squirrelybonkers after a time in the sun. Bear will chase him now, then they reverse. Achilles just loves soaking up the sun. His only Evil Chasies™ is when Bear hisses or growls at him for being too big and scary. The poor boy has this look of, “What did I do?”

Love the Vitamin Zoomies. In the long distance hiker world, we call ibuprofen “Vitamin I.”

Loaner Cat never has the zoomies anymore. She’ll soak up the sun, but that’s it. When the sun has moved, she just stays there. Beau will lay in the sun no matter how hot it is and stay there until you can almost not touch his fur because it’s so hot, and still he lays there. Makes you wonder…

Smudge is sitting in the living room window, soaking up sunlight. The kittens (Hagrid still hasn’t gone to his forever home) and their mother are passed out on the bed. I expect a resumption of zoomies and shenanigans in another hour so, or whenever I decide to do something, whichever comes first.

Cats are slow-charge, quick-discharge solar batteries.

Them cats. They is such pouncy bouncy creatures.

Cats are solar powered. They lay in the sun all day so they can have the 3 am zoomies.

I must say I’m halfway (not quite) hearing this in David Cattenborough’s voice!

Did Elvis just bounce off Puck’s head? If so, Puck is a total pro – he doesn’t miss a beat!

It’s been a while since we have seen Elvis cheerful. I’m happy for him.

I dont have time for a good bake today.. does vitamin zoom come in pill form?

My Panther was born with and maintains a CONSTANT case of zoomies. The Mese loves to recharge but the zoomies are not dignified enough for him – his “thing” is to stroll through the house YOWLING. The sister just sits and watches with total disdain,

I don’t remember the last time JackJack had anything resembling Zoomies. These days he prefers it as a spectator sport. Logan is very good at it, especially while chasing Junior.

The Queen: And I declare a zoomie time after supper.

Elvis is a back sleeper. That’s my fun fact of the day.

While it’s great to revisit with the cats, I’m missing the ongoing adventure of raccoons, opossums, moles and mice and Baba Mouse. I want to know what happens! And I’m certain it will all tie in with the cats.
