BFF, can’t you tell?

Wait a minute… Where’s Gunther at???

So Luann is doing Bernice a huge favor and she can’t even tell her that she’s doing fine and she appreciates her help with her assignment?

So the big question.. Does this arc continue on Monday, and we get a week’s worth of Gunther, or do we get an all new arc?

Winning? Passing? What, did Luann think this was some sort of a competition?

I hope somebody doesn’t try to pull a “Dear Abby Normal” gag here! 8^ )

NORMAL? So far, nothing is normal. Ox deserve a gold metal for participating in a poorly designed experiment?

Luann has made many assumptions to the purpose of the project?

Bern is the queen of gaslighting!

Has Gunther forgiven Luann for prying into his personal business?

Young Psych major found strangled, knifed, bludgeoned, poisoned and spit upon in local restaurant. Police have no leads.

I suspect there’s no project. It’s just pure entertainment for Bernice Perhaps learn how different males interacted with Luann. Nil was silly. Jack was uncomfortable because Luann started flirting which was unusual. Ox took a long while before he finally spoke. Bernice is gonna psychoanalyze these guys. Luann was the control/constant so I believe her goal for this was to study the males. She didn’t care about Luann’s contribution I think Bernice is just trying to understand guys and thinks this “project” will reveal something.

There were no passes, but a lot of fails.

Luann over thought and assume which was wrong her part that this was nothing more then a Psych Project by crazy Bernice.

This will be the LAST time Luann helps Bernice with anything.

Is this something Gunther came up with? “When she sees who else there is to choose from, maybe I won’t seem so bad. But don’t invite Piro, assuming you’re even not too ashamed to speak to him.”

She may be in the Nermal range.

Maybe we’ll get back to Tiff/Kip/Stef triangle next week.

So Luann believes it’s all about her. Hopefully, Bernice will explain what she has been looking for at some point.

I think we are going to get a week of Luann and Gunther, and Gunther will pour his heart out because he hasn’t heard a peep from Bets.

Luann is a very sweet, good-hearted “everygirl,” but she’s not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Bern has a lot more intelligence to work with, but her social skills could use a serious upgrade.

Berniece is so mean. Why are they friends??

Bernice must first consult her textbooks.

You give that person too much power over you, Luann.

I understand not influencing the subjects, but is so annoying how Bernice not only refuses to tell Luann what she’s observing on her, but to even let she knows how her data collection is going. The worst part is the arrogance with which Bernice speak to her, that’s really unbearable. Luann is rightfully starting to losing patience with her. It looks like Gunther could become the subject of the whole next week. If that’s the case, I hope Tiffany gets involved in the discussion. Maybe that will make Bernice angry, but Gunther needs to talk with Tiffany. Or maybe Quill will really be there as a surprise final guest, to show to Bernice how much his presence can agitate Luann.

Here’s a suggestion.

As long as you have your arms outstretched in the last panel, first take your left arm, swing HARD and give Bern a roundhouse SLAP Three Stooges style upside her obnoxious head.

Then Rinse and Repeat with the Right outstretched arm.

It’s My Own little experiment.

I just wanna see if Bern’s head RINGS like a Dinner Gong in one of those old Looney Tunes Cartoons. ;-)

Many of us would be happy if there was never an arc with Luann and Bernice ever featured again.

Don’t think this was about LuAnn interacting at all: the subject is something different, Luann was told it was about interacting with male subjects so she wouldn’t act differently. I doubt if Piro will be part of this, he made it pretty clear he didn’t want to be Bernice’s test subject, and he’s probably busy out bumming somewhere, but Gunther should be interesting. I hope.

And who, Bernice, establishes what is normal, you? I think I want another opinion.

I wonder if Gunther was going to be involved in this. Guess we will have to wait until Monday to find out.

I know we know not to expect Bern to be a good friend, but you’d think she’d at least be grateful enough to tell Luann what the objective is in this project and what things she’s gaining from it.

Luann asks such stupid questions. Bernice needs to quit school and join the Army. Anyone who thinks a psycho study with this many factors influencing the responses has got to be out of their minds.

BERN is not normal.

To be fair, Bernice can’t tell her anything. It would taint the study.

Maybe Gunther is also a subject in Bernice’s study. He’s meeting his dates next week.

Well this was a farcical waste of time. Time for a Tiff arc…WITHOUT the Stef-Kip thing.

Oh she’s in the normal range alright Bern, if only towards the low levels of reaction towards an annoying “friend” like you… you should thank your lucky starts she normally is NOT in the normal range, because then you wouldn’t even have the one friend…

Luann should never ask Bernice if she’s normal. That’s like giving an arsonist a book of matches!

Next TWO WEEKS will be all about Gunther.

If Luann goes through life expecting to be graded, she’ll get nowhere and not be happy with herself.

So what are the parameters? It might be a tactic not to tellthe subject so as not to influence how she acted/acts. If so, even with Bernice doing the punch line, Bern seems to be following socioogical research principles.

Luann says “Well? How am I doing?”. And Bernice answers with “DOING?” with a question mark. Is Bernice’s project only about the guys and NOT Luann at all?

Poor Ox he didn’t do anything to be treated that way. If I was Ox I Would not give the time of the day to any of the little girls playing mind games. That had to hurt!

What is the point here?

As usual with Luann, it’s all about her.

Any week without Stef is a good week. It has been a different kind of week, not too much Bernice and several different characters. Better than a lot of the story lines.

Define “Normal”. Normal can be very subjective.

I have to grant that Bernie has got at lest one thing right: Luann is not “normal”!

Most readers seem to think Luann is TOO normal.
