I’m old and probably don’t have many more elections left. Just one more time before I die, I’d like to be able to vote for the candidate who I truly believe is the better of the two rather than having to vote for the least bad candidate. I don’t think that’s asking too much.
The intention of making people not believe in the outcomes is to make it easier to get rid of elections altogether in order to install a totalitarian regime.
13 million people voted for Biden to be their candidate for President. After a bad debate, they threw him overboard for an even worse candidate who has never had a single vote in a primary. If she gets elected, she’ll make Washington D.C. a state, and Puerto Rico a state, so that there will be 4 new democrat senators, plus she’ll pack the Supreme Court, as they don’t like some of the recent decisions. Does all that sound like a threat to democracy? The correct answer is yes.
Well, Russians have already been caught faking ballots being torn videos. Sadly, there is a large population in the USA that won’t accept that they are fake. Then again, they seem to think falsehoods are real and actual facts are fake. It does seem it’s true, you can’t fix stupid.
“Politics has got so expensive that it takes lots of money to even get beat with nowadays.” DT #1538, June 28, 1931“Politics pretty quiet over the week-end. Democrats are attacking and the Republicans are defending. All the Democrats have to do is promise “what they would do if they got in.” But the Republicans have to promise “what they would do” and then explain why they haven’t already “done it.”I do honestly believe the Republicans have reformed and want to do better. But whether they have done it in time to win the election is another thing. The old voter is getting so he wants to be saved before October every election year.” DT #1917, Sept. 26, 1932“This country has gotten where it is in spite of politics, not by the aid of it. That we have carried as much political bunk as we have and still survived shows we are a super nation.” DT #1948, Nov. 1, 1932 “I read where they are going to limit debate in the Senate. It used to be that a man could talk all day, but now, as soon as he tells all he knows, he has to sit down. Most of these birds will just be getting up and nodding now. Why, some of them won’t be able to answer roll call.”Will Rogers
The newly elected chairman of the far-right House Freedom Caucus, Rep. Andy Harris, suggested that North Carolina’s Republican-controlled state Legislature should consider awarding the state’s electors to Donald Trump before all votes are counted
Early voting has started, and I have already voted. The election is over for me. I don’t want to hear anymore about it. Can we now stop this nonsense and return to funny comics? Or have all you guys lost your funny and viewers?
In the real world most people do believe in the outcome. A critical factor that insurgents almost always fail to consider is that easily misled people are by nature less effective than those who can keep their heads.
A question for those who feel the Trump factor will decide our future: if he is so powerful why are there so many equally against him? Another question: why would we think he has any special power in this regard?
If we really want to thwart the fears he is trying to plant, we have to stop dancing to his tune. Ignore the ignoramus.
It’s not that everybody doesn’t believe in the outcome it is a few telling the gullible that nobody believes in the outcome. Much as this strip just did.
People who think this way actually really insult the many hundreds of thousands of people across the nation who work very hard to ensure a free and fair election.
Well, milking social discord and political animosity is such a new thing then, right? When is this a “comic” strip, and not an editorial push for controversy versus an attempt to encourage comity and mutual benefit?Oh, that’s right…
After the last one, I hope more cities will be prepared for the riots that follow this one, since half the country will say this is the worst president we’ve ever had
The places to ask this question would be Cuba, North Korea, the former Soviet Union, Romania under Ceacescu, etc. Of course, a few of those places don’t even bother with even the fake elections.
As others have pointed out, the problem here is that only HALF the nation or so seems willing to accept the election results now. The entire political turmoil of the past 25 years has been about seeding distrust in the electoral process—BY BOTH sides. (Dems want to abolish the Electoral College, get non-citizens voting, throw mail-in ballots willy-nilly at everyone, and find ways to make themselves election-proof; Republicans don’t care who suffers in ensuring “election integrity” by demanding identification and showing up at the ballot on Election Day.)
I’m sorry. Everyone believes the outcome. Even Trump knows that he lost. But they don’t CARE. It’s like a kid having a tantrum in the toy aisle in Walmart. The kid knows he’s wrong, but he also knows he’s going to win if he can keep it up long enough. He’s programmed his parents.
That’s why it’s necessary to take every accusation of election fraud seriously and monitor and audit election results to insure the integrity of our elections. Let’s also remember that BOTH major political parties have contested election results this century, and this should be a bipartisan issue.
Didn’t take long for a liberal to start the name calling and the hate. It’s a real pity how little research you all do. You all believe whatever Kamala spews out of her piehole. You are exactly what you accuse us of being. Also, everything you say Trump will do if/when elected Biden and his cohorts in crime are or have already done
We could believe in them if the leftists and big government folks allowed the sort of audits that would prove votes were not added, altered, substituted or destroyed.
Bring back balanced factual reporting on MSM. Get rid of ballot drop boxes on the street, two have been set on fire, one in Washington and one in Oregon. And you might get people believing in elections again.

For those of us who are not paying close attention;
1. The US Intelligence apparatus did confirm that Russia DID work to aid T****’s 2016 Election.
2. Hillary did not attempt to stop the peaceful transfer of power.
3. The Former President of the US DID try to stop the peaceful transfer of power.
Those FACTS alone should tell you all you need to know about the current choice of who to vote for (or at least who to vote against).
