There’s the other side of Amazon ratings, people giving five stars to everything they like even a little bit.

I’m going to post in the GoComics comments about how lame a comic is.

I simply review with my wallet – bad service/product, don’t go back. Extra service/good product/good people – always go back (and tell a few friends as well).

Pastis is a surprisingly accomplished and unexpected social cartoonist.

That’s…. definitely a reason. I think it’s deeper than that, but whatever.

the weirdest social media is Linkedin. Not too many people say much s**t because it will keep them from getting hired or will get them fired.

And with Amazon on strike, it could take a few days to post it.

The phrase ’everyone’s a critic’ is now real.

I think Uber and AirBnB are two of the greatest examples of capitalism at its best.

Unfortunately true. People are more likely to complain than to give praise.

Couple things: if he left a mess, there’s a fine. If he damaged the Uber door, there’s a damage fee (I know this one personally) PLUS regardless if he pays or not, or especially if he doesn’t pay it, he is BANNED from Uber, not to mention his rating dropping significantly.. per Uber “If a user does not follow our Terms of Service, they may lose access to our service”

oh and also, Uber drivers can now ban passengers who they don’t like, whether it’s 3 stars or 1 star. Stinky person? Banned. Late? Banned. Annoying? Banned. Rolls down the window when it’s raining? Banned banned banned!

Why do you think both Donald and Elmo bought social media companies? It’s the great dumbing-down of America.

No Twitter for me for a good year now. Way less stress without thoughts about things I can’t change. Especially about all those far right morons lacking any clue about natures laws and a working human society.

And saying something nice is being a kindly person, so that’s a good way to show how NOT to react to places, people & things

FedEx in Norfolk VA just throws deliveries onto whatever place they want here. 3 out of 4 packages take up to 3 tries to make it to me.

Reminds me of a “Black Mirror” episode I saw a while back, “Nosedive” with Bryce Dallas Howard. I think Rat would like that one.

Yeah, sure, THAT’s the reason people are unhappy.

It can’t be because of ever increasing wealth inequality where ultra rich buy the government in order to enrich themselves even more.

Extreme wealth inequality does not exist, according to magats. Never did.

The same is true for market concentration. Magats believe there is no such thing and even if there were, it could not possibly have any effect on inflation.

And it also couldn’t be because of the 24/7 firehose of the extreme right wing broadcasting of Fox and virtually all of AM radio screaming about everything to be deathly afraid of and monumentally angry about.

Yeah, none of those things even exist, let alone matter.
