This just in: Snowball is NOT part of “all of us!”
Meanwhile, since I have it on good authority that soap opera related movie WILL continue through at least New Year’s Eve/Day, the snack tables in the Grumbling Room are still in operation! Sadly, they, along with all of the chairs, are still located where there is a direct line of view into the TV room. So, try to avoid blocking my view . . . I mean, facing in that direction.
It would be fun if the actor who plays Snowball also stars in the cat version of Miracle on 34th Street. He looks great in a Santa suit, might be a good Kris Kringle!
Ricky Bennett hasn’t been here for a while. I hope all is well. Maybe he(?) discovered the one spot in Grumbling Room that didn’t have an annoying view of the tv…
Yeah we all still poor with this poor excuse of a story. Just like any other steenky soapy oh purr aaaugh that is. Where be the foods room now in this humongenormous building? Me always seem to losing the way in all them big hallways. Maybe we shoulda shifting room to some smaller building with larger kitchen and larger dining hall.
I’m running Win11 on this mini-PC after my main desktop threw a rod a few months ago. I’ve managed to make 11 look like 10 (The Taskbar can be reconfigured), and while 11 has a couple of slight improvement over 10, Adverts have been incorporated into the OS, and that’s the least worst part of 11.
This PC will be used for things that I absolutely need Windows for, but for my main machine I will be running some flavour of Linux.
I have a very difficult time making sense of soap operas. Is it common to have a character in the back shouting while the lovers are having a conversation? I think Snowball has a bit of Burt snark.
Oh, Snowball, do be quiet and fade into the ether. Angora is too old for you to ground, and nobody except you, That Guy Brad, and Doctor Mittens will care that you lost all your money burning it to light cigars!
I’m hoping for a small check-in (at least) with That Guy Brad and Dr. Mittens. I want to know what Snowball’s minions are up to – they have been too quiet… Meanwhile, I’m loving the romance between Kit and Angora [sigh]
Ah yes, as our little story comes to a close it is done so with the ever so popular, overly sentimental, and joyful conclusion, involving a deeply romantic reunion, a heartwarming resolution to a major conflict, and a strong emphasis on love, family, and personal growth, leaving the viewer feeling completely satisfied and sometimes even a little teary-eyed.
In other words, a big old steaming pot of cat drivel.
Tune in tomorrow here on the Pawmark Channel for the premiere of our 100 episode drama, The Cat in the Cradle and The Silver Spoon. A sweeping love story, set in a cutlery factory that is destined to be turned into rocket factory so the owner Little boy blue can blast off in hopes of meeting the man in the moon. So remember to tune in tomorrow night where we’ll get together then. You know we’ll have a good time then.

It’s all a happy scenario, especially Snowball being poor. He’s poor in heart as well.

I like the way he turns his good eye to the girl.

You know, I must say the day’s strip would be of lessor impact if Snowball’s comment were missing.
Hat tips to Georgia as a storyteller.

You sure are, Snowball. You’re a poor loser. And a poor example to kittens everywhere.

Meanwhile, Back on the Nile
At the Artisans’ Studio
Adobe Style: Here is my latest creation in space-time fabric, Pais.
Pais Leprent: Very cosmic. It looks out of this world, yet is practical at the same time.
Adobe: That’s the way space-time fabric works. It has a beauty of its own.
Pais: How did you come by so much fabric?
Maat-Tilda: It had to do with Ora Z and a space-time anemone.
Pais: I know those flowers can be tricky things.
Adobe: That’s for sure. There’s the story of when Kira made honey from one. To this day no one can find where it went.
Tillie: If I ever have need of a space-time anemone, I would go to the Royal Procurers. Tash and Vi are experts in their use.
Pais: That would be a transcendent experience.

Very sweet moment, in spite of Snowball’s attempts to ruin it. Characters commenting in the background is a very amusing technique Georgia employs.
