It’s been a joy watching Tommy cover the snowstorm this week. His demeanor feels like a cross between Bob Ross and Jim Cantore, minus the happy little hurricanes.

Everyone loves Tommy! (Even Sophie?!)

Yo Tommy indeed. Hail, Hail, the gang’s all here. With some hot cat cocoa and fresh, dry clothes afterwards.

Tommy is popular, of course.

Everyone is happy to see Tommy, in part because he’s always so happy. A bright light in a grim world.

Something everyone can agree with. Tommy is awesome.

The true greeting is the one that includes coffee.

That last panel is my favourite. Sophie is a wonderful friend to have. Ready with a hot cup of something tasty and soul-reviving with a sweet smile on her pretty face. ❤️ Life is gouda!

I’d been waiting until seeing today’s to declare my favorite from this week, with the sparkling moonscape winning by a long shot. Then came today’s panel 4, and (melt).

I can’t see the fine details. Does Thimblefist have warmers for those thimbles? They’ve got to be cold holding a snowball!

I always thought that Tommy channeled a lot of Willard Scott from the old Today Show!! … :)

At first I thought Tommy had a snowball in panel 1. Then I realized it was the top of his mic! However, those are some pretty big snowballs that Homestyle and Thimblefist got going … can they even lift them to throw them? or are they going to make a snow “critter?”

Blurry inferior screen today. Especially seeing Sophie’s happily greeting Tommie with a hot beverage. I hope it’s a cat safe variety of hot cocoa. With marshmallows.

I love all of the little kitties, but I think Tommy is my favorite.

Beatrixia: You do know there are other ways to regain your jewels than fighting.

It’s great to see Burt’s plaid blanket and Thermos again, and one of the opossums, and our old woodland friends.

I’ve enjoyed seeing Tommy’s journey from a lost outdoor cat who saves Elvis to what he is in this strip!

I remember in the earlier times of this strip, Sophie did not care for Tommy. I love how circumstance caused the relationship to evolve. Tommy has always been Tommy, but Sophie evolved emotionally.

This has been a magical week as we have watched the ever intrepid Tommy explore a freshly fallen snow. Brings back warm and cozy memories of doing the same.

Nice to see the greetings from all the different characters, but of course the best one is the welcome home from Sophie.

Their little squish beans can work clothes pins !

Nothing like having a hot chocolate with a friend.

I backed up and looked at this whole week’s arc—charming! I liked the observation that snow makes things quiet—but little things get louder! Pasquale over at “Rose is Rose” once fell behind his mom when out walking in the snow, and told her, “I got stuck in the quiet!”

The best thing about going for long quiet walks in the snow is sometimes coming home to the warmth of home.

A good reminder to let your inner Tommy shine!

You all are going to be annoyed with me, but I see hidden Tommy Toebeans (under mittens) in panels 1, 2 and 3. I can’t hold in the EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! just thinking about it!

That would explain the numerous tracks two days ago. It’s nice to see old friends.

Welcome home, Tommy!

Making friends wherever he goes. The cat who proves that, like our former vet said, there is no feline norm. Tommy is gregarious and genuinely friendly.
