Bush compassionately invaded Iraq, killing a couple hundred thousand Iraqis and causing tens of thousands of American compassionate casualties.

And compassionately allowed the Taliban to retake Afghanistan.

The Bush depression was also very compassionate.

California used to have a great mental health system. Plenty of beds for those who were unable to care for themselves. After Ronald Reagan got elected he decided it would save the state money to close down the hospitals and throw the mentally ill onto the the streets. Now there were homeless people and the police and prison budgets had to go up to handle the situation.

It worked so well he did it again when he became President.

Until we, the people, decide things are to absolutely change, they won’t…

Trump is likely to order his Attorney General and lapdog, Pam Bondi, to aggressively enforce the law in Blue States where cannabinoids have been legalized. Shutting down dispensaries would put pressure on Blue State governors to comply with the project 2025 agenda.

Some things never change.

Trump promised us shock and awe during his first weeks of his Presidency. This is the one promise he has kept. I am shocked at some of the things he has done, and in awe of how rash and impulsive both he and his staff are. The spending freeze should have never been put forward. Whoever pushed that idea has seriously embarrassed their Orange God. There is obviously no one in Trump World who can or will tell him “No.”

Well Trump you wanted a staff that was absolutely loyal to you. You got it, but they cannot/will not save you from yourself. Be prepared to be embarrassed a lot due to your ill considered ideas.

It doesn’t “ignore state law” to enforce federal law. The state can’t permit what is illegal nationwide.

I remember being skeptical that “compassionate conservatism” was possible back in the Bush times, and recall it was so quickly seen as oxymoron that the term fell out of use in weeks. Mr Trump makes no such claims of course – compassionate is not in his (limited) vocabulary.
