They are still separate in the Constitution! It’s just some people refuse to accept anything that goes against what they want.

Trump and all magats treat the Constitution and the Bible the same.

They embrace the parts they like and sh!t on the rest.

Are you allowed to talk about one or the other, but not both (separation of church and state)?

I’m [mumble mumble]!decades old, and for most of them there decades relatives treated me civil, and so did I. But with the rapist traitor Queen Trump and King Musk? I can’t comprehend no how folks that lowdown mean and ignorant!

tRump is the new religion

A lot of people want their religion to be the State religion but scream bloody murder if it is someone else’s religion. Look up the 30 Years War if you want to see the reason why separation of Church and State is an extremely good idea.

Actually people are so clueless about what separation of church and state mean

Did people know that many states are persecuting Christians on a regular basis ? California, Oregon, Washington state governments hate Christian’s but people want to live in their imaginary world

As far as I can tell , the only thing that MAGAs like about the Constitution is the Second Amendment—and even then, they only like the part that says they can own guns. The part that requires that gun ownership should be part and parcel of a trained militia unit is completely ignored.

I can’t think of any English-speaking country that’s not a hellish theocracy. Were there diners in 1491?

I’m not sure religion & politics have ever been separate.

That Trump is not Christian (or spiritual) is screamingly obvious, and now there’s a golden-hooved goat idol at Mar-a-Lago covered in fake $100 bills bearing Trump’s picture with In Trump We Trust, and the base of the figure says I Love You with the man’s signature. Why anyone with an ounce of religious foundation can support this monster is beyond me considering how he flaunts his ridicule of them.

When the MAGAts say they “want god back in the schools”….the question is; which one?

If your politics is your religion you’ve got a serious problem. And ANYONE who thinks tRumpty Dumbty is a Christian has no concept of what Christianity is.

Repubs have leaned heavily to the side of religiosity but live deeply in the self-before-country mode. Any schtick that will get the masses to vote their way. Prey on their fears, the worries about ‘the others,’ those who looks or speak differently. Make them uncertain about their medicines, food, and shelter. Blame it on the Dems. Best ways to turn a democracy into an oligarchy.

DOGE they pronounce it D-oh-ge. I think of it more as Doggy, who pretends to do Buttercup’s bidding, whether or not he ever articulates what that is.

“Render unto Caesar, the things that are Caesar’s. Render under God, the things that are God’s.” I guess this quote never made it into the Trump-approved, Evangelical, White Christian Nationalist Bible.

The phonies who pretend to be Christians got OFFENDED when a Bishop called for mercy. Which tells you exactly how authentic their “Christianity” is.

So far, Debaucher In Chief (who claims to be Christian) has attacked Catholics, Episcopalians, and Lutherans. So far.

Or Superbowl half-time shows, apparently. I didn’t watch the Superbowl, so I didn’t see the show, but there’s no escaping the brouhaha.

Is there anything about Trump’s behavior that just doesn’t scream “DICTATOR” That’s what he wants and he’s making it happen.

Perhaps a wall of separation between school and state would help. Maybe governments should get out of the “education” business.

I’ve spent some time in the UK, and they seem to be able to talk/debate peacefully—unless, of course, it’s about football.

It’s amazing how many people vow fealty to both the Bible and the Constitution, seem to be utterly ignorant on both. For example, the first amendment and the first commandment contradict each other. Then again, they dismiss the Jesus of the bible as a “woke libtard”, claiming Trump to be the real Jesus.

Have a talking and a no talking section. If you talk in the no talking section, you get no desert.

After perusing the comments to this comic, it becomes very apparent why the democrats lost the election.

Religion is useful if you want to control people. They’re going that route for a reason.
