Load bearing beams keep their mouths shut and do their jobs. It’s the construction equipment that’s always making noise as it puts houses up, and then knocks them down. And put them up, and…
Note that my grandma individually wrapped each apple before putting it into the crate in the cellar. Note also that my father fairly often told us that he’d complained for his whole childhood that they only ever ate apples that had started to go bad for the whole freakin’ winter!
America has more lawyers per capita than any other country in the world. They have to advertise and stir up trouble to make a living. Did you ever see a plumber or electrician do this sort of thing?
The judges that allow these frivolous cases also share the blame. It makes you think how ridiculous those stolen election complaints must have been, since some of them were even brought to trial.
You know, it would be interesting if we could put lawyers into a gladiatorial ring situation and they could use the law on each other, to the death. Their deaths, for a change.
That tv ad reminded me of the recent Keurig K-cup debacle. The suit rests on a claim that the dinky coffee cartridges were recyclable when they weren’t. Said that recycler complained that cups were too small and hard to clean. [Yeah. Like that’s gonna happen.]
S-o-o-o-o-o everyone who used\s them is supposed to sign onto the lawsuit to get their share of the $10 million. After all the legal advertising costs, the lawyer and clerk fees, the filing fees, court costs, etc, that might amount to about 2 cents a person. Lawyer, thy name is Frivolous Fred.
were you scammed by Congress, the media, and Big Tech, aka The Swamp? $1.7 Trillion new spending on top of the other Trillions…which include nearly $100 billion to secure Ukraine’s border against the Russian Russian Russian invasion…which doesn’t include $100 billion to secure the US border against the entry and re-settlement of the illegal millions of immigrants, criminals, human traffickers, fentanyl, known terrorists, but then so what…
But seriously, when I was in high school over 60 years ago, our civics teacher taught us that most of the lawmakers in every level of government are lawyers because, in short: government governs by passing laws, and one has to be know how laws work in order to make good ones.
This lesson would be a good one for all people to know nowadays.
I just don’t understand how could some people who haven’t even finished high school have been elected to the House and/or Senate. I applaud the achievements of other representatives, but those uneducated ignorami who purport to represent the people make me wonder about the future of the good old U.S. of A.
Rather amusing how the left vilifies the Republican party to distract from all their sins. Democrats are reverting to type – founding a neo- Old South. California is the new South Carolina. Add, Oregon, Washington state and Hawaii to complete the set. New York state and the New England states are the new border states like Delaware, Missouri, Kentucky, and Maryland were. The old south possessed a small extremely wealthy class, a tiny middle class, involuntary servitude and large numbers of whites and free blacks in poverty. The cotton plantation owners and cotton trade factors such as Lehman Brothers, made up the wealthy class. The small middle class included doctors, lawyers, larger shop owners and a few others that catered to the wealthy. Involuntary servitude labor depressed the wages of most others. Now, oligarch donors understand that hiring cheap labor is more cost effective than involuntary servitude . Involuntary servitude workers only work enough to keep from being punished and must be cared for. Peons are cheaper. California’s oligarch class are mostly in IT, show business and a few industries. Lawyers and doctors, who cater to the aforementioned, form the upper middle class. The wealthy oligarchs use imported labor to depress IT wages at one end and unskilled labor to keep their mansions and well-manicured lawns – mimicking involuntary servitude of old. Which depresses the wages of a dwindling middle class. Add, rising taxes and the middle class becomes poor or leaves the state.
