I’m surprised she can even move in that star shaped snow suit!

I so wanna snuggle with lil Ora and her snowsuit. she is truly a STAR! I cant tell if Lupin is in mid eye-roll or what though. also, that HRMPH sounds like the noise Sara makes when I ask her to clear out of the bathroom!

HRMPH! Catitude with a side of fangs.

In that snow suit, mobility is doomed.

If she does make it outside, she will probably run into a certain barn cat who will send her straight back in. However, while it is generally unwise to doubt Ora Zella, my bet is that she can’t even make it in that snowsuit.

I couldn’t help thinking of my son’s first encounter with a snowsuit. He’d just turned 2, & his grandparents had sent him a light gray snowsuit for Christmas. It made him look like an adorable small Biff the Michelin Man, but it was so stiff that when he tried to take a step in it, he fell TIIIIIM-BERRRRRRRRRR!!! right flat onto his face! Poor kid…I don’t know how I managed not to bust out laughing hysterically…

This is both adorable and sad…. though I do hope this explores the fact the cats may actually want to go outside sometimes. Elvis I at least get as leaving for a minute caused him to get horribly lost, but why do the rest of them have no desire to be indoor outdoor kitties?

I wish there was a search feature for this comic. I am thinking of a strip where one of the kids was sick and Elvis observed something like “Kids are made of peanut butter and germs”. I’d like to show it to a coworker whose 10 month old is starting to pick up everything from day care and is sick again. But I don’t know how to find it and I sure don’t have time to re-read every strip.

Ora Zella is a star! So precious and funny at the same time. Her determined expression is so cute. I look forward to seeing if she gets out…

Can’t go in the snow if you can’t even walk.

OT: Took Emerald the Yodeling Cat to the vet today for shots and bloodwork prior to Trouble Puff removal next month. The lab work was inconclusive as to whether he if FEL/FIV positive, so $500 later, they are sending it out for a different lab for testing. He did not Yodel at all at the Vets or in the car. He hasn’t made any noise since we got home. No place to isolate him from the other cats, so he is still with the pack. They’ve all had their shots, and no one has been bitten, since they only do chase scenes. Poor young Emerald the Yodeling Cat. He is up to 13.4 pounds now. He was under 7 when he first came in.

Asking for positive thoughts and purrs for our calico Stevie Nicks, she will be spayed tomorrow. I don’t post often ,but I have posted since the oldeTuesday/Thursday strips.

Her snowsuit is delightful.

Ora Zella missed her calling as the star on the top of the Christmas tree.

Our big, black, floofy Norwegian Forest cat, Odinsdottir, and our two Siameseses, Kei and Yuri, love to go out in the snow. I was surprised by the two Meezers, but they just love it.
