Cats are hilarious sometimes when they’re being super-apprehensive. It’s like watching a YouTube video on .25 speed. Meanwhile, dogs are like, “Hey, what’s this?! Check it out! Scan for food!”

What is that yellow thing they’re hiding behind?♥

The mighty panther glides through the rainforest, deeper than he has ever gone before. He sees a clearing up ahead.

What has this new hunting trip brought him?

He breaks through the Split leaf philodendrons, also known as Monstera leaves ; he glides past the Monkey Brush Vines, (Combretum rotundifolium) and into a clearing by the great Amazon.

_"Oh, if I was only home in my Euterpe precatoria tree,"_ thought the lithe panther.

The Euterpe Precatoria is common in the Amazon, but the mighty panther lives in the largest and strongest of them; the tree, a relative of the açaí palm Euterpe oleracea), has sweet berries that the panther loves to nibble on.

For some reason, the humans have broached his domain, connecting him to their world. What will he find in this new reality?

What is really fun is when the poofy kitty tries to hide under the bed, only to have their tail sticking out.

Aw, poor Puck. So scared but he’s doing it anyway. Aw, good Elvis. So kind and encouraging.

I do love how even though Elvis wants everyone to believe he’s a crotchety old fart, he’s being so patient and supportive of Puck.

Caution is the order of the day! You never know when a floorboard might give out and drop you right into the Earth’s core!

If Puck and Elvis poof in the same panel then we on’t be able to see them.

Totally OT except cat: My absolutely perfect flawless kitty Nikki ate all her breakfast and then purposefully walked over and yarked it down the biggest grate in the house. I had to lift a one-ton grate (I counted!) and stretch down to clean up the mess, all while being careful not to put any weight on the thin metal ductwork. In the course of this cleanup, I located and removed 4 catnip mice, which had been completely invisible in the depths of the catfur accumulated there. Maybe Nikki was trying to tell me something?

When Elvis said “Into the unknown,” I expected Lupin to show up dressed as Elsa in FROZEN 2.

Followed by the Crab Walk!

But just think, Puck, there may be all sorts of new climbing horizons out there!

It takes a lot of courage to venture into the unknown. We have faith in you, Puck.

Once upon a daytime sortie

If looks more afraid of Puck poofing out than he is of the unknown. In fact he looks like he’s climbing into the unknown to escape before Puck poofs out.

Puck my love, I know you think you are delivering a threat to poof your tail, but we are hoping it’s a promise. Too cute.

We have two floofy kitties, a calico and a Norwegian Forest Cat. When they puff up it is a sight to behold.

We’ve seen extreme puck poofage so I think I can brace my small body for what’s coming.
