Many long years ago, Dunkin Donuts used to have a commercial where the baker would keep repeating, “Time to make the donuts.” He would eventually meet himself coming in the door. I’m getting those vibes from Elvis.

Mary and I are planning activities for emergency preparedness for the kids. We are having them decorate jugs to keep a supply of water in, and building kits of food and other items. We are trying to show preparing for emergencies can be fun.

Now while the Portentous Wind is blowing, we decided to make the best of it. The kids are making kites, and we have a kite flying song:
