Artistically speaking, I really like how the water colours stand out in that last panel. You can really see the textures.And of course any reaction from Elvis is always heart warming and funny.

Elvis reminds me of the name I and a largish group of others have for that reaction. There’s a woman—a librarian at a large university in fact—who goes by “Kitten” in the online group “alt.callahans”. She’s known for the same reaction as Elvis above, so that has become “to kitten”. How apropos for Elvis to kitten!

Today is the one year rescue anniversary of the cat (Cole) that we pulled out of the undercarriage of car in a parking lot while Christmas shopping. He is quite talker as if he having a conversation with us and a real sweetheart. He gets along well with the other three although he assumed the alpha role. We are happy he is part of our family!
