I remember this one. Bea is so cute.

I have tea every morning except Sunday when I have coffee (decaf). I know many of you coffee drinkers will probably say if it’s decaf, it’s not really coffee. But, it suits me; it’s hot and comfortable and tastes good to me.

I have a strong feeling of Deja vous. Is this a rerun comic?

Beatrix, bringing the lads some Monday coffee, that is awesome! Lupin + caffeine = extreme zoomies.

Being a Tampa native I am fond of a strong Cuban espresso or on occasion a Ybor style Cafe Con Leche especially when the weather is cold like it has been this weekend (28 at my house yesterday morning, about 32 here right now with some nice frost on the grass and the second weekend in a row with temps at or below 32, does not happen here that often anymore). I am also partial to French Market coffee or Cafe Du Monde’s coffee and chicory mix that is wonderful with beignets or Krispy Kremes if you get them when the “Hot Now” sign is on! Speaking of donuts, I somehow I picture Tommy as a half dozen “Krispy Kreme glazed” guy but perhaps as the strip is set in Rhode Island he might be a Dunkin Donuts type of cat! I suspect the other cats settle for a nice bowl of Kibble as long as The Man gets the right brand.

The sky is the limit for Lupin. He now hangs out with the stars.

I’ll bet Tabitha and Sir Figaro are looking at each other and muttering “Lupin got regular coffee today.”

Oh bloody hell. I took a social media break starting just after Lupin was sent home safe, and I didn’t see the news until today. I’m so sorry Georgia — I lost my first beautiful kitty, Thena, in a similar fashion. I woke up in bed with her sitting by me as usual, and she scampered down the stairs for breakfast. I logged in to read email first, and she was prancing on my desk when suddenly she fell into my lap, growled twice, and went limp. It’s been nearly twenty years and I still have that burned in my memory.

A while back I ordered a Tommy pin (for the flamingo pajamas; family joke) and they sent me Lupin by mistake. I lost track of it while switching desks, but in early January it showed up again. I’d like to think it was Lupin letting me know. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

I’m so sorry. I know you had a lot of people to comfort you then, but I still wish I’d known and could have told you. Like so many others, I loved that rascally Cat of Adventure through this comic. Thank you for sharing him with us.

The perfect strip to start Lupin Week!

Ha ha ha! One of my favorite’s, too! It always reminds me of my first cup of brewed coffee! I was drinking instant coffee with a lot of milk, since I was 12. So, at 16, I got bold and ordered a dark roast( from the local coffee shop )with half and half and 6 tea spoons of sugar…an hour later, I got the jitters and began to talk really, really, fast! At that moment, I probably would have made it to the ceiling! Never went back to instant coffee after that, but I did cut down the sugar to, two tea spoons!

Well, the ceiling is a floor if you believe in yourself. That bit of wisdom and an image of an upside-down Lupin should be an inspirational poster.

Despite all the advanced warning, I was startled by the re-run. Can I blame GoComics for my bad memory?

Also: Classic Lupin. One of the best. Of course they’re all one of the best.

If I had any artistic ability (which I don’t) I would draw a cartoon titled “the day the office accidentally switched regular coffee with decaf”. Half the workers would be asleep at their desks, while the other half would be climbing the walls.

Thankfully, when Vlad was still with me, the caffeinated tea didn’t affect him like that. Don’t think he noticed when I went decaf. All he cared about was that momma’s drink was always better.

This is such a great one! As usual, you can’t tell whether Lupin is being inspirational or just weird. I am looking forward to the rest of Lupin week!

I think most of us in the Orb will always associate this strip with the tiny horse who was like having 5 cats.

This was my vote for favorite Lupin strip, and it’s posted on my kitchen cabinet door. And may I just say, I’m no football fan and I only watch the Super Bowl for the commercials, but I’m so happy that this year it will be free of Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes! Go Bengals!!

I’m just gonna say, for all of you East Coasters, I’m praying for you. I’ve heard power is out for a lot of East Coasters. Where I’m at, it’ll hit teens to single digit by Wednesday. It’s been in the 60’s for the last 3 days and it’ll hit teens to single digits for a couple of days and then swing back up to 50’s to 60’s. Like I said before, roller coaster weather sucks.

I just realized something. I may need to go back through the archives and find my parody of Ray Stevens The Streak for later in the week. No clue which strips Georgia has picked for her Lupin Tribute, but could be possible one of them has a naked Lupin in it.
