Oh no look out lupin!

Daredevil Lupin to spice up a formerly quiet day.

Nothing except maybe Jules, who couldn’t resist one last appearance before July ended.

Bonus Jules appearance! Yay!

That pesky July bug…..here he comes! In for a Crash Landing!

It’s still July! Once more into the breach!

And here comes Jules again, for one last round of chaos!

Turns out I should have named my new kitty, Lucy, - Lupin! She is a daredevil and will scale any height. She is absolutely Lupin’s twin!!!

Due to his deafness, Lupin can’t hear the approach of the one thing that can startle him into knocking the lamp onto the glass table covered in teacups.

Lupin, Jules begs to differ.

“Stop being so specific!” That had me chuckling out loud. As did Lupin’s antics!

Bonus: panel 6: the leaf in Puck’s mouth and a glimpse of the top of Goldie’s head.

Why is the table covered with cups of tea? (The tea is, of course, doomed.)

And we thought Jules was gone. He’s going to goose Lupin. When two agents of chaos collide, the tea cups don’t have a happy ending.

The more specific a possibility, the more worried I get.

Uh oh! Lupin’s about to get a bug in his bonnet…

Great strip this early Sunday morning with panel 3 having Jules mischievously staking out the situation and panel 6 with Elvis, Goldie and Puck suddenly on high alert due to Lupin’s antics! What a great way to end July. See ya next year Jules!

The owl on the lamp looks a little bit worried about all of this.

In panel six, Goldie looks like she has her ears back.

I sensed doom since panel 1 when Lupin happily stated it was quiet and peaceful.

I am glad Georgia got the July Bug in for the last day of the month, but I can only focus on the pure amazingness that is a snack nap. I want that.

“Snack naps” appear to be a version of “sleep hunting”, which was practiced by my cat Kirby. Wily, old gophers take a lot of patience to catch. His solution was to spend hours napping in front of a gopher hole, until the gopher would pop up a little too far, assuming Kirby was part of the scenery. He killed over 50 gophers that I know of .

I once had to explain to a neighbor that, without Kirby in his garden, he wouldn’t have a garden .

OH NO! They July bug is going to knock Lupin off! Love Pucky’s leaf mustache and Goldie’s disapproving stare.

I went to Georgia’s talk at the Bothel, WA public library yesterday. It was great, as one would expect. The man, the boy, the girl and Pengo were there as well. The boy and girl contributed to the discussion and the man acted as tech support. We got a sneak preview of the cartoon versions of Iggy and Ora Zella. They’re adorable kittens and will probably appear in the strip in October!

The hind leg position alone is worth a 10.

Jane Marvel: Do we know anyone like that?

Agnes-Ata: The most agile person I know is Lupinium, but he’d never steal things.

Ta-Natash: I can’t think of anyone who would just take things without any reason.

Jane: But don’t you ladies take things?

Alice-Ata: We do, but we always have some purpose for taking them.

Violet-Ifa: Maybe our thief has a purpose as well.

Enter Thomios:

Thomios: Hello everyone, would you like to try our new charcuterie items?

Puckmosis: Thanks. Don’t mind if I do.

Thomios: Meet my new apprentice, Packer, Iron Glove’s younger brother.

Alice-Ata: Hello, Packer. You didn’t by any chance provide the ingredients for the charcuterie tray, did you?

Packer: Sure did. I wanted to bring only the best to Thomios’ kitchen.

Violet-Ifa: But I think a lot of merchants are missing their inventory.

Puckmosis: Don’t worry, the Palace can work something out. Maybe sponsor a big banquet.

Tash: Well, Packer, I think you have a brilliant future ahead as a chef, but you may want to consider a career as a Procurer.

Packer: Wow, can I do both?

Puckmosis: We’ll have to see.

Not going to end well. Lupin has clearly tempted Jules.

OK. I’m gonna have to try this Snack Nap thing. Sounds very promising …
