Oh, Georgia, these spooky space heater tales are so delightful, and I get the sense (and hope it’s true!) that they’re extra-fun for you to illustrate. I’m very much looking forward to the next four Sundays.♥♥♥

I love Lupin’s reaction in panel 6. Even without the Spectral Paw or knowing Lupin, he’s clearly hiding from something!

I think that’s Goldie at the bar (I’ll have to check on my tablet to be sure). Sir Fig and Tabatha are sitting at one of the tables. And, oh, the look on Lupin’s face in panel 6. A kind of an embarrassed “oops” grin.

Lupin is definitely law enforcement material. Previously he was Invisible Lupin, able to sneak anywhere (especially a white sink), and now he’s a member of the SWAT team…

For some reason I’m thinking The Gambler with Kenny Rogers. I loved that movie!

I actually did LOL when Barkeep Goldie started to ask the mysterious stranger if he meant his father.

Well, that deteriorated into a game of Slap in a hurry! I love how the space heater just sits back and watches in the last panel.

No one’s commented yet on their tiny little cowboy boots? Sir Fig’s are purple, Elvis’s are brown, and Lupin’s are red with spurs!

So adorable it hurts.

I love Spooky Space Heater Tales!

A spectral paw?? Wow thats bizzare, even for this bunch. But to be expcted I guess. A version of Thing i take it?

I thought this might be a take on the Ridgeway Ghost from my neck of the woods, who cheats patrons in ghostly poker games. Instead it’s two cartoon cats having a tickle fight. I assume Elvis’ poof is because they are being so undignified, or perhaps because they might roll into the space heater. Either way, all others are having fun.

Tabatha and I were both channeling Gilbert and Sullivan there for a moment (orphan/often)

I need this on my desktop for a guaranteed laugh when I’m having one of those days.

“Grabby mittens” definitely sounds like a cat game. My cat Johnny Depp would play “I’m not biting you” with Kirby until he would be provoked enough to do something about it – like throw Johnny Depp down the stairs.

It’s like the “I’m not touching you” game that kids play in the backseat of a car on a long trips, after parents have told them to stop poking each other. One cat puts his teeth around the other cat’s paw without biting. It’s nerve-wracking because if the other cat does not react, the first cat might have to bite just a little bit . :)
