What do I foresee?

The way Puck is draped over Goldie, he just looks so at ease… for the moment.

The incarnations of chaos are manifold: cannonball, wrecking ball, and goofball …

Lupin doing triple duty here — as the CN news anchor, the live on-the-scene reporter, and…well, what is about to become the news story itself.

They don’t have to be competing cat piles. They can be complementary cat piles.

My girl Gracie often enters the bed by way of cannonball. Right on to me. She likes to tease. She knows what she’s doing, and that just makes her a great cat. Once she gets on me she demands her head be rubbed. Then she turns around and settles down on my hip. It’s strangely comforting, until you have to get up to pee and she wont move.

Cue “bowling ball rolling down the alley to a strike” sound

I thought Puck and Goldie did not like each other?

Iggy looks so sweet sleeping atop Dad Cat Elvis. I hope Lupin overshoots the target and lands on the floor. The thwump will probably wake up the sleeping cats, but hopefully will help avoid a sunflower face poof from Elvis and a bottle brush Tail poof from Pucky. Who am I kidding. Bring on the POOF!

Luckily the Boy and the Girl are still awake. Shall we get giggles or shrieks?

Careful, Lupin. Children’s shins do not make for a soft landing. If they are competing, the pile on the Boy is winning, although perhaps the metric will be how they withstand the coming disturbance.

…what? Rain? No, they fixed the leaky roof, I think….

To Denny Wheeler from yesterday: Yes, they all got spayed/neutered on the 27th. We don’t let kittens or cats go to new homes unless that happens. The local humane society office gave us a great deal – $125 for all 5 kittens AND the mama cat. That didn’t include shots so the new families will do that. We also give everyone a certificate to a local vet for afree first exam, just so they can make sure baby is healthy. The vet does that at no charge.

OT: COVID cooties

I wonder how Lupin will “stick” the landing.
