Ha! The authorities couldn’t deter Elvis with a bath, so now they have forced the station to switch to another story. What are they trying so desperately to conceal?

    Dr. Scuttles Sunday June 18:

It’s pretty easy to guess my favorite sports team.

    The New Jersey Devils. Obviously.

(I also greatly enjoy the Red Sox, though they are regrettably not cryptid related.)

For a time I believed that the hockey mascot known as “Gritty” was a cryptid, but then sadly read an article which explained he is in fact someone in an elaborate costume.

(…I’m still not entirely convinced. Am still open to evidence that Gritty is, in fact, a cryptid.)

Well I guess the whole Trash story got tossed into the garbage. Now the BCN is just digging up dirt. Looks like anther catch and kill story in the making. The Tabloid news outlets are so unreliable.

Be careful…Superman and the molemen is considered the first DC Comics Motion Picture Adventure. Batman had a Theatrical serial in 1943, but this was the first budgeted major motion picture production.

Men drill deep underground, disturbing the small mole men. One of the mole men is wounded by one of the oil drilling team. The creature is taken to a hospital, where Superman and Lois Lane protect him from a mob. Later, 3 of the mole men return to the surface with a power ray that they aim at the men trying to attack them, superman protects the men. Then Superman fetches the wounded mole creature from the hospital and carries him as his companions return to the wellhead.

Soon after, from deep underground, the Mole Men destroy the drill shaft, making certain that no one can come up or go down it ever again. Lois observes, “It’s almost as if they were saying, _”‘You live your lives… and we’ll live ours.’"_

Wait a second…..the mole men were not evil, nor the aggressors…they were innocent and kind throughout. It was Man that was the tresspasser (digging so deep into the ground and disturbing the poor mole men. It was man who attacked and wounded a mole man.

So, where is that coconut smelling man at? What’s he been up to since he thwarted Elvis’ story on Trash, which I understand is also something that goes into the ground, something called “Land Fill” hmmmmm, where is FBI msn, Puck Mulder or is that Cat Meewlder ….

Tommy and Beatrix will make an awesome reporting team, they are probably the best cats for meeting new animals. Tommy doesn’t even have to disguise himself this time (I still occasionally laugh at “Pom Pom, short for Phomas,”).

I wonder if it is going to take a bit to actually find a mole. Georgia said she has a long storyline planned for the summer involving the outdoor animals. I think she said we will get to formally meet the Opossum family and learn there names. And with July not far away it seems likely the Jules might be part of the story somehow too.

The Kindle edition of “Elvis Puffs Out” is a weekly special deal this week for $1.99. It is almost unreadable on a small gray scale Kindle, but is readable on a Kindle Fire or the computer Kindle app. (The Kindle app is free.)

I think a racoon just ran off with the bowl I had out with cat food. It seems they dumped all the food on the deck. I don’t see the bowl anywhere and a racoon was ducking under my deck when I got to the screen door to look out. Maybe it is working on a new outfit. I had another one disappear not that long ago. I have been using disposable bowls since all my non-disposables disappeared. Reading BCN makes me expect to see raccoons running around my yard wearing the bowls.

    Meanwhile, Back on the Nile

Alice-Ata: Looks like it’s time for special summer treats. We need to check out cracker sources, cacao, and ham.

Violet-Ifa: Do we have enough barbecue equipment?

Alice: We may need to contact our underground sources.

    Sometime Later

Agnes-Ata: Talpi, do you know where we can get some special treats for summer?

Talpi Mole: This is the time when ships come in from Afar and Away. I’ll have my friends keep an eye out for any special cargo.

Agnes: Thanks, Talpi. I know Puckmosis likes his potato salad. Do you know any sources of potatoes?

Talpi: I saw Duffy and Trish O’Doyle from Eirenan at the Cosmo Nursery. I think they may be bringing potatoes for growing.

Agnes: Oh, I haven’t seen the leprechauns in months. I know just what to do.

    Sometime Later

Trish: Thanks for inviting us for special tea and scones, Agnes. Now I understand you’re wanting potatoes?

Agnes: Yes. Do you have them?

Trish: Yes we do. We’re working on a project with Trevor-Hotep. How did you find out about it?

The Royal Procurers: We’ll never tell!.

Beatrix and Tommy! I adore them both. Just seeing either of them always makes me happy.
