I sort of want to meet some of TFG’s supporters. Easier to find than space aliens and we might even speak a similar language, though I doubt I’ll ever be able to understand what they are talking about.

I know it is possible to create documents that are difficult if not impossible to copy on standard copying machines. It mostly has to do with the color of the ink but may involve something with the paper used as well. I would hope that most of our Top Secret documents are created in such a way. That way they can only be copied on special copiers that keep track of what is being copied and by whom.

Trump probably did make photocopies of the documents to sell to whoever wanted them. But then his plan backfired, because they paid him with photocopies of money.

But come to think of it……..

Because, like anything related to actual governing, he didn’t give a fig about the documents themselves. Papers are only impressive if they are in Top Secret folders you can leave out on your coffee table or wave around to impress his friends. Just like the kid who thinks a “Trapper” notebook will make them look smart.

I’m old enough to remember the Superman comics from the 1950s and 1960s. Pretty much every cover was Superman doing something crazy and/or terrible, like tearing down a school or helping Luthor rob a bank. Naturally there was always a reason given. That’s how the MAGoos are. No matter how bad SuperDonnie acts, there’s always a reason.

I also do not want to imply that Trump is an idiot. I want scream into the ears of every MAGA Neanderthal that Donald J. Trump is the worst piece of sewage that the United States has ever produced.

And, YES, he cheats at golf, too.

He didn’t want the actual papers, probably didn’t even know what they said. He wanted the fact that he HAD the papers, that he could be the OWNER of the papers, he was so important that they were HIS!! Trump has a very low opinion of himself, which is the only sign so far that he has some contact with reality, and this was one way he could attempt to feel good about himself after being rejected by the voters.

Oh, but he is an idiot, he also could have taken cellphone pictures of the documents in question, but that’s not the same as having the originals to show off to impress the other losers, that you were once something that you’ll never be again.

Wouldn’t have looked as good at Milley’s trial for treason.

Seems to me true followers never believe anything negative about their idols, even if the words come from the idol’s mouth itself. There’s always a rationalization: “Fake News! He never really said it,” or “It’s just a ruse to confuse his enemies,” or even “Darned if I know why he said it, but I’m sure he has a good reason. God works in mysterious ways.”

Photocopying, or using the tiny spy camera Putin would have given him, would be kinda (sic) like work. You don’t think he carried out the boxes himself?

Two reasons: 1)He truly believes everything and everyone belongs to him thus those documents are his property and no one else’s. 2)He demanded cash upfront so they had to come see him, and the foreign countries demanded originals only.
