I have to wonder why Tiffany would have any interest in such a passive fellow no matter how sculpted his pecs may be. If he doesn’t have the manliness to break up with a woman he obviously dislikes what does he offer Tiffany that she can’t find in Leslie or Oxford?

Tiffany could save herself a lot of grief by commuting from her home. Just invite Bernice to come live with her. That would make it so much easier for B to share her spreadsheets with her.

Seems like LuAnn has become a minor character in her own strip.It seems that even the live-in at Brad and Toni’s house gets as much face time as LuAnn. (Just exactly does he do?)

I have to admit, this was not the reaction I hoped Tiffany would have to the news that Gunther and Bets had gone their separate ways. But after all the long story about how much she hated shared a room with Stef, make sense. Once she calms down, Tiffany will think again about whats that means and maybe she will call Gunther to find out more. Stef and Kip’s relationship seems more and more to be Stef’s whim. Watching her go from a fight to pulling Kip into her room is really weird. Kip doesn’t seem to have any possibility to decide something, it’s all about her and what she wants at the moment.

Its nice that there’s someone out there sticking up for Tiffany, its about time someone treated her with some decency. Also good for Bets now she’ll see that better options out there than Gunther.

Steff seems to be a reverse stereotype. Usually it’s us hetero males that are accused of doing what she appears to be doing with Kip.

I wonder…maybe there will be a sequence where Bets encounters modern-day nomads like ones seen in both the book and Academy-Award winning “Nomadland”?

I am gessing that Kip does not have sex with Stef. He has had enough of her manipulation.

Get used to it Tiffany, Stef and Kip are a couple. A sexually active couple. Unless you are willing to compete on the same level, you need to fold your hand and leave the poker table.

I don’t think there is one person here that will believe that Kip is being victimized, if that’s what the writers are thinking about trying to depict. Men have a sure-fire way to avoid sex if they don’t want to have it. Women are not so lucky.

Whether Kip follows Steff remains to be seen. Tiffany should count it a blessing that she doesn’t have to share a space with nasty Steff. I’d love to see Bernice return and interact with Steff. Stef is cartoonishly incorrigible as always and Kip just rolls with it as usual. I hope he dumps her before they get busy. Kip leaving her with something like b|ue bal|s would be the much deserved sprinkles on top of the embarrassing breakup sundae she really should’ve seen coming her way.

It is a shame that Stef gets the private dorm, she’s the least deserving of it. If Kip dumps her, she’ll still be hanging around and being a pain in the behind. No doubt she’ll blame her adversary, Tiffany, for everything.

I know it’s a futile hope but, Karen, if you’d ever like to bring back Crystal or Delta: them in the cast would be much more welcome than Bets or Stef, for sure. Just a thought!

I supported Stef being nervous about Kip staying at Tiff’s and then she goes into full insult mode days after her return to the strip. Worse, she throws insults at Dez, who has done NOTHING to deserve them. I don’t think Kip will stay in this relationship for long. And I think he will date Tiff but only for a short time.

I’m think the Evanses have written Bets out like Lyman from Garfield. Years later in a Luann strip (or pay-to-read novella) we’ll cut to the rusted remains of Ruby abandoned in the desert; wherein lies Bets as a skeleton (a la what happened to Chris McCandless from “Into the Wild”).

Before you say that’s too dark for a comic strip, what I described is much less dark than what Jim Davis did with Lyman in “Garfield’s Scary Scavenger Hunt” game where Lyman was chained up in the basement and in a later level his severed head is in the oven! And that was in an actual, official Garfield game!

This arc is getting as unrealistic as the pregnant gambit by Ann Efiel. American four year college campuses have extremely strict speech codes. Just a person overhearing a “phobic” remark can result in discipline being taken against the student. Stef purposely used fat phobic remarks. Personally, being an ex-G.I. they were merciless with overweight people. But this isn’t the military, is it? The Evans are letting a white character of privilege get away with anti-plus size behavior.

Maybe Bets won’t be back and will start her own podcast
