Even with the launch assist, by the time Natasha gets there, I think the cats are going to know about the moles. But it was a great idea and a fantastic flight!

Following some debate the other day about whether mole claws would be an effective weapon against cats, I turned to YouTube. A search of mole vs cat provides some videos (not recommended for the gentle-hearted) which indicate that moles are really, really small and feeble compared to a cat. The results of a cheeky mole challenging a cat are pitifully tragic for the mole. Even a large gang of moles would only provide more cat fodder.

The moles are SO lucky. Dr Scuttles moved away, else he’d be a very well-fed snapping turtle. As is, they only have to deal with several not-too-happy cats. And perhaps one fire-extinguisher-equipped pair of young but fierce firefighters.
