Looks like Alice has been awarded the Purple Can Top. Thankfully, she didn’t earn it the same way Americans earn the Purple Heart!

Thimblefist the Mighty Beakbreaker will wear the Pocket watch of Valor well. As a Pocket Watch devotee, I strongly approve of this award for him.

I hope we can now see Puck teaching the younglings how to defend the BPH from the leaves! So much good stuff could come from that act.

Aren’t we glad that Thimblefist was given a medal? We all know he deserved one!

@andycat. I also thought of Gracie Allen. I recall reading that Burns originally planned the act with himself as the comedian and Gracie as the feed, but he quickly saw that her dizzy manner got more laughs. So he set ego aside and made her the focus. When they were live, he always checked the draughts on stage so that he could make sure his cigar smoke didn’t blow in her face. That’s a professional.

I love her epaulets.

Now that the story is winding down and we don’t have any cliffhangers, not as many people are apparently staying up late to get the new comic. But that’s okay. It is nice to see the awards being bestowed.

Now everyone will watchout, for Thimblefist!

Happy Halloween to everyone in the Orb!! It snowed here yesterday in mid-Michigan so the kids, if they go out tonight, will of course be wearing coats over their costumes. Not unusual. We’ve had Halloweens where the kids are in sleeveless costumes as well.

Who will be awarded the Nightlight Lightbulb of Courage? Probably Beatrix for selflessly assisting Magazine.

The small but mighty Thimblefist awarded the Pocket Watch of Valor… and I love Queen Mag’s oral citation that goes with the award. Happy Halloween to all!

Washington Post reported that an owl got stuck in the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden Typewriter Eraser X sculpture. He was rescued and rehabilitated and released from the rehab center in Delaware. They named him Eraser. Hi is a beautiful young owl. Not a mean streak in him.

Lil gray is fixing to get fixed!

We take him in tomorrow morning. I bet he yells the whole way there!
