Tortoises. They’ll outlive you, and they’re a lot more quiet than dogs.

Parrots also live a good long time, although not as long as tortoises, and of course the whole quiet thing is off the table.

Our four-legged buddy had been with us well before the pandemic, but he saw us through the whole thing loyally before finally crossing the rainbow bridge.

Maybe Society can rise from the dead to celebrate Easter, and we can all put bunny ears on our pets!

Pets = unconditional love

This is exactly why I am fighting to continue working from home.

We’ve been trying to get a another dog, but large dogs aren’t an option and there are very few small or medium sized ones at rescues.

Dogs are better than people, again? Shouldn’t we also wonder where and what those pet dogs would be without all the positive human qualities, the kindness and care, of their owners?

Is there a new pandemic, named “November Election”?

Wish more people were like him in keeping their pandemic rescues. Shelters and rescue groups are now overflowing with dogs, including many returned by people who had to go back to the office. How did those people think they would care for a dog after the pandemic ended, or did they just not think?

Something tells me Stephan can relate to this a lot, but I’m not sure.

Well, we have had dogs all the time we’ve been married; probably won’t get another after losing our chihuahua in Dec., but I have to agree with this cartoon and the old saying: The more I deal with people, the more I love my dog.

Daughter (55) recently attended a conference, came back with COVID. She forgot that the then POTUS swore that chlorine bleach was the cure.

Too many people who purchased or adopted dogs during covid have decided they no longer need their companions now that they can again mingle with other people and have dumped their pets. Shelters and rescues are overflowing. Even if you can only provide temporary fostering, contact a local rescue today.

How I feel about my dog!

It’s better than our pets pass before we do. Many of them die of a broken heart. After my golden Molly and Mr Kitty died, I decided it was best not to have another pet who would outlive me.

The new normal really sucks. Unfortunately a lot of our differences is sharing our negative viewpoints on social media. At least our 4 legged friends love you no matter what your views are

Our 17 year old cat was just about done mid COVID. We thought he was going to be the last one. We were wrong. We got a kitten who grew up to be in the top 3 of all our cats.

And the rest is the History just prior to the destruction of civilization…..

It’s a matter of preference. I love animals, in general, and though she was a pain in the lower 40, I just had to have my final fuzzy family member put to rest, after almost 17 years. It doesn’t matter what they are… dogs, cats, or whatever… if you love them, and treat them the way they should be, it is never easy to lose them.

In my world, we don’t own animals, and some people will disagree, which is their right, but, to me, they were my “fuzzy kids,” and members of the family, and no matter, dog, or cat, all are missed, when they are gone.
